we still understand the pride they have in their teams. we had a hell of a good time with scotland. we've loved having yall over here, seeing yall try things we have here. we don't even care about "football", but we're excited to host these games. here in texas when someone invites you to their house, tries to show you a good time, feeds you well, makes a fuss over you, lets you do the things you like, etc. normally we'd say "thank you". but it seems not everyone is raised with manners.

we have national sports competitions. our state rivalry is VERY fucking intense. we understand the thrill and pride of our underdog teams making it to upper brackets of the games, only to lose. just say what you mean: you want the usa to care about soccer so we'll be sad when we get knocked out of the competition.

So, when that beautiful wonderful ice melts in about 10min after we leave in the drastic heat, the water has amazingly refilled itself and is nicely cold and refreshing. always get a refill of water with extra ice before leaving the restaurant. I’ll fill my water bottle up with ice before I leave for the day and I’ll have refreshing cold water 6 hours later.
