Thank you, @IntechOpen, for inviting me to propose and edit a book regarding reimagining education in the post-pandemic era. Twenty research teams contributed chapters centered on the role of e-learning, creativity, and technology with international perspectives. I appreciate the contribution of my @EndeavorSTEM colleagues @Karen4STEM , @ProfJamesHutson , and @AnnieArnone13 , who conducted a study regarding Perceptions and Barriers to Adopting Artificial Intelligence in K-12 Education: A Survey of Educators in Fifty States. I am honored that my @JHUeducation colleague @karenecaldwell of @sunypotsdam1816 contributed a chapter to delineate her new framework for learning in Learning out Loud: A Framework for Learning in an Era of Information Abundance. My chapter, The Singularity Is Emerging: Large Language Models and the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Education, examines the impact of large language models and artificial intelligence on education. My upcoming @IntechOpen book, Self-Regulated Learning - Insights and Innovations, will accept chapters during the first quarter 2024.
