@ENirenberg @BioTurboNick Nitriles are quite common in marketed drugs - ranging from anti-diabetic (Galvus) to breast cancer (Arimidex). Nitriles are metabolic quite stable which is in advantage in drug design

@RicciLily @2F1J @davideyoungmd @EricTopol I know too many patients within a group, e.g. home for the handicapped, several got cancer shortly after each other and died of it one after the other. Some cancer are so strikingly transmissible at a certain stage.

In the Pfizer vaccine trial, for example, absolute risk dropped from 1% in the un-vaxed group to 0.5% in the vaxed group for an absolute risk reduction of ~1%. If you’re making a choice on behalf of a child, please choose based on their comfort, vs yours.
