I hereby proudly present the most autistic thing I've ever built yet. Unmatched in it's uselessnes but yet SO cool. You wouldn't understand LOL I'm presenting a full-blown Teletext engine. This puppy can read and write .t42 broadcast binary files and you can use it to look at archived teletext pages or create your own. As a demo I have "teletext-ified" my website. For those who don't know what this is, Teletext was a format that allowed text content to be broadcasted along with a TV channel. Any TV with a teletext decoder could view it. You could use it to look up weather, news and many other things. VERY popular in Europe. It actually still is in the Netherlands (where I'm from). It was also huge in the United Kingdom. I’ve been very supportive of POTUS on Iran & believe getting rid of Maduro was good. But I’ve been appalled by this Admin's tone, rhetoric, tactics & strategy toward Europe. Denigrating our allies has been terrible. Weakness communicated to Putin has caused grave damage. Passive-aggressive communication toward President Zelenskyy is embarrassing. I hear from our allies about the damage this has done & it’s going to take time to repair.

The SAVE America Act doesn’t “Save” America. And this isn’t about voter ID. This bill requires everyone to re-register to vote in person and your driver’s license, REAL ID, or military ID aren’t even good enough. Imagine all of our seniors who don’t have valid passports and haven’t seen their birth certificates in decades? What about them? How hard will it be for them to register? And how do they get a passport if they can’t find their birth certificates? And what about the cost? If this becomes law, it will disenfranchise many Americans.

@CapStasher Hey! I hadn't seen this until just now. I was inspired by a post by @iamdothash and created a full roundtrip teletext engine. It has an editor, a viewer and now since an hour ago also a TERMINAL viewer. teletext.ai-created.com

To that end, I made my own Teletext graphic generator. You can choose between multiple colour palettes, or make your own, and export the result as an image. Link in comments. This is a byproduct of me trying to create templates for my future web-based live Teletext project.
