I really love the simplicity of building functional mockups in a simple single HTML file (with @tailwindcss and @Alpine_JS). But it took me longer than I'd like to admit to get it set up so I could actually start mocking. Every starting point I could find required node.

Recently discovered @Alpine_JS and as mostly a backend dev I love it! However docs seems to be outdated or incomplete on alpinejs.dev/advanced/exten… where the method signature and table of properties are incomplete. As an non-JS dev, I had to enlist ChatGPT to understand it.
