I don't hold opinions because I like them. I hold them because I think they're true.

The Daily Mail has to be the most vindicated and unfairly maligned publication of all time. They spent the 90s relentlessly raising the issues of bogus asylum seekers, EU overreach and pedophilia cover-ups. Were called cranks and hysterics, yet that’s all the news ever is now.
Zack Polanski@ZackPolanski

Still not sure why we're putting Daily Mail *and* journalist in the same sentence? They protect power and wealth of their owner at all costs. That's all. Media reform to stop a tiny amount of people owning the vast majority of our media urgently needed. thenational.scot/news/25977650.…

@HuddsPrsrvtnSoc They were also the only newspaper who bothered, and did so relentlessly, to go after Stephen Lawrence's murderers... Not because they're liberal...but because it's a bad thing for murderers to go free... The 'liberal' newspapers? Nowhere to be seen...

🥀 Robert Stirm, the Vietnam War POW remembered from the iconic “Burst of Joy” reunion photo, has passed away at 92. 🕊️🇺🇸 Stirm was a U.S. Air Force officer who spent years as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam. When he finally came home in 1973, his reunion with his family at Travis Air Force Base became one of the most unforgettable images in American history. In that powerful moment, his oldest daughter ran toward him with her arms wide open, lifted off the ground in pure emotion — creating the photograph the world would come to know as “Burst of Joy.” That image became far more than a family reunion frozen in time. It came to represent relief after suffering, hope after heartbreak, and the overwhelming joy of loved ones made whole again after years of fear, pain, and uncertainty. In the middle of a war so often remembered for grief, that single photograph showed something deeply human and unforgettable. Behind that moment was a man who endured captivity, hardship, and the unknown — and still returned home to the embrace of the family who had never stopped loving him. 🕊️ Rest in peace, Robert Stirm. #TheVietnamWar #POW #RIP 🕊️

@peterstopcrime What I want to know is why would any young British boy join the army right now? Why would you risk your life for a place that is an open door to the world’s horrors?

Charlene Downes only made it to 14 years of age before being murdered by the Cousin Rape Gang that were passing her around! She had been regularly raped and shifted around by the Cousins since the age of 11, from the age of 12 she is a regular visitor to her local STD clinic Her killers and Rapers arrived here as Asylum Seekers , The Police had an illegally obtained recording of some of her Rapists admitting they had put her through a kebab mincer, they charged the Cousins but the case was kicked out because of procedural errors Tell me how we didn’t fail this poor girl. No one ever brought to justice, no Body ever found because allegedly it went through a Kebab mincer! Getting abused from a minimum of 11 years of age and no one did anything! Her Parents are scumbags and allowed Muslims to get hold of her, is that the fault of the scummy parents ( being scum) or the Muslim Rapists ( being Rapists) or Us ( 🇬🇧 society) for not doing what we should, looking out for children? In the two years before she was murdered, Charlene had, apparently, unknown to her parents, visited a sexual health walk-in clinic 13 times, once with deep bruising to the inside of her thighs Charlene was last seen in the town centre hanging around the alleyway that runs between the shops on Talbot Road and Clifton Street, which is full of fast-food takeaways. Early on in the investigation, police became aware that Charlene, and a number of other girls, had been targeted by abusers active in the town. It emerged that the girls had been swapping sex for food, cigarettes and affection. Police are certain that Charlene was sexually abused by one or more men, over a period of time before she went missing, and that her death (they advised her parents in 2005 that they were convinced their daughter had been murdered) is linked to the abuse. The trial of Iyad Albattiki, 30, who owns the Funny Boyz fast food shop in Blackpool, Lancashire, who denied strangling 14-year-old Charlene Downes after having sex with her and His business partner, Mohammed Reveshi, 50, who denied disposing of her body, was halted when the jury failed to reach a verdict. The subsequent retrial collapsed owing to concerns over a key prosecution witness. Both men were cleared of the charges. The case is still open. In the search for Charlene, the police uncovered what was a barely hidden secret - endemic child sexual abuse by Foreign Muslim Men!

Law enforcement should focus on people like this rather than gardeners or nannies. What a piece of work this “fellow citizen” is.

ICE INVESTIGATION LEADS TO GUILTY PLEA IN MONKEY SEXUAL TORTURE CASE Francisco Javier Ravelo, a U.S. citizen from Coral Gables, FL, pleaded guilty March 2 to distributing videos showing adult and baby monkeys being sexually tortured and physically mutilated following an ICE @HSINewOrleans investigation. Ravelo created and administered online chat groups dedicated to torturing monkeys — in violation of the federal animal crushing statute. Ravelo personally distributed more than 40 of these obscene crush videos. @HSI_HQ

Why are such high proportions of social housing occupied by foreign-born heads of household? In part because in 1976, equalities legislation made it illegal to favour native-born people when allocating housing – so-called "indirect discrimination". Repeal these ludicrous laws!

@RobertN51219021 @L_Wastell But that’s the point. It shouldn’t be! Or at the very least it should serve that nations need and not the individual, especially when the individual has moved to Britain from overseas.

Mamdani is an expression of the fading of old diasporas. Hostile to traditional Jewish diaspora views on Israel. And hardly even aware the Irish diaspora — now older, much more assimilated and smaller as a share of New York — has views on Irish unification worth considering.

No. Cultures that execute large numbers of young men select out violence and criminality. The Taming of the Gene, I call it. The Romans did it. The West did it. When they stopped, they become violent again.
Claire Lehmann@clairlemon

This is completely insane -- I cannot believe people are RT'ing this as if it has any evidentiary merit whatsoever. Cultures that execute people have *more* violence & criminality, not less! x.com/Will_Tanner_1/…

The one change I would make to the civil service is the pipeline to the senior ranks. We need more people with a working class background who are less likely to fall for stupid social contagions and political fads.
