When mail-in voting is limited or eliminated, then selected polling stations are closed or surrounded with "security checks", when poll workers are replaced by ICE "for security", when ballots are confiscated for "fraud", maybe you’ll take it seriously. Too late.

Confirming news that ~1,000 troops from the 82nd Airborne Division are expecting to deploy to the Middle East in coming days — including a battalion from 1st Brigade, currently the Immediate Response Force, and a HQ element including MG Tegtmeier, sources tell me and @ZcohenCNN Additional elements from 1st Brigade are expecting to join at a later date. CNN: Democrats are winning local elections everywhere throughout 2025 and now throughout 2026, and they're doing it all over the map. In ruby red states like Florida, in Georgia, in Mississippi, in Texas, in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The math speaks plainly as day. Democrats have huge enthusiasm behind them right now, and Republicans keep losing in places where just in November of 2024, they were winning big.

The other seat looks like a ~13 point shift Left. Democrats will appreciate the flip but that's still short of the 15-16 point shifts on net that they enjoyed in those two Florida U.S. House specials way back in April of 2025. This seat below had 77,000+ votes in 2022, a midterm year. So it's not like Democrats are flooding the polls in response to Iran or gas or anything.
