@Boogeyman_925 @Ron_M_Swiss Sorry friend but God was speaking to Isaiah if you read it. He also says there are no other gods before him. While the word trinity isn’t in the bible when you see what is written of and even spoken by God himself then you can only conclude that there is the Father,Son,&Spirit.

I agree that in Book of Isaiah God clearly says there is only one God (like Isaiah 45:5). That’s actually my point too, strict monotheism. But when you go to passages like Isaiah 48:16, the text itself doesn’t clearly define three distinct divine persons as one God. It’s not explicit, it’s being interpreted that way later. Also, throughout the Old Testament, God consistently speaks as one single being, not as three persons. And even in the New Testament, Jesus distinguishes himself from God, for example in Gospel of John 17:3, he calls the Father ‘the only true God.’ So I see the Bible consistently teaching one God, but the idea that this one God is three co, equal persons is something developed later as a theological explanation, not something clearly stated in the text itself

You’re quoting verses, but the key issue is how they’re being interpreted, not just quoted. First, about Christian the term appears in Acts of the Apostles 11:26, during the same time Paul (Saul) was already active and preaching (see Acts 9). So it’s not accurate to separate the spread of the term from his period. Second, Gospel of John 8:56 Abraham rejoiced to see my day. doesn’t say Abraham literally saw Jesus. In the Bible, seeing can mean understanding or anticipating (for example, Hebrews 11:13 says people saw promises from afar without literally seeing them. Third, regarding Book of Isaiah 48:16, this is a debated passage. The speaker isn’t clearly identified as a distinct divine person. Jewish interpretations historically understand this as the prophet speaking, not a second divine being. Reading the Trinity into it is a later theological interpretation, not explicit in the text. Also, when you go to Book of Genesis 18, it says Abraham was visited by the Lord and two men (often understood as angels). The text never explicitly says Abraham knew he was serving the ‘Son of God.’ That’s something read back into the story later. So the pattern here is: the verses themselves don’t clearly state what you’re claiming, they’re being interpreted through later doctrine. That’s the real difference between us

@Boogeyman_925 @Ron_M_Swiss Paul was a converted after the term was already spreading. Jesus said Abraham rejoiced to see his day, saw it and was glad. John 8:56. The Son has always been God’s word. Isaiah 48:16 from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.

You’re connecting verses in a way that assumes your conclusion. For example, in Acts of the Apostles, the term Christian appears during the same period as Paul’s ministry, not clearly before him spreading anything. And in Gospel of John 8:56, Jesus saying Abraham rejoiced to see my day doesn’t mean Abraham literally saw him, it can just mean he looked forward to God’s promise. Same with Book of Isaiah 48:16, you’re reading the Trinity into it, but the text itself doesn’t explicitly say that. That interpretation comes later

Some of that is interpretation though. The name Christian does come from Antioch in the book of Acts of the Apostles, but that’s during the time of Paul, not before him. And when David says The Lord said to my Lord in Book of Psalms 110:1, that’s often understood as referring to a future king or messiah, not necessarily meaning David believed in a divine Son of God, the way later theology defines it. As for Abraham, in Book of Genesis 18 it says he was visited by the Lord and two men/angels. Saying he literally washed the feet of the Son of God is a later interpretation, not something the text explicitly states.

@Boogeyman_925 @Ron_M_Swiss Fun fact. People started calling followers of Christ in Antioch Christians and the label stuck. That was before Paul. Did you know in the Psalms David referred to the Son of God when he wrote the Lord of my Lord. Abraham washed the feet of the Son when they had a meal together.😉

Bro... use your brain. The meme means: IF you say this is about meteorites, THEN it would also mean cattle and feathers are flying from heaven — therefore this interpretation is nonsense. That's what it means. Your complaint makes no sense at all. And your fake god misrepresents Judaism and Christianity throughout the Quran — just saying. So spare me the whining.
