We condemn in the strongest terms the repulsive act of desecrating the memory of six million Jews murdered under the Nazi regime by displaying the Nazi swastika on the Israeli flag by Polish MP Berkowicz - on the very day of Holocaust Remembrance Day in Israel. It is hard to imagine a lower depth of contempt towards the Holocaust than this revolting act. We welcome the condemnations issued by the Speaker of the Polish Parliament and the Polish Foreign Ministry, and the intention to sanction the MP. We expect every Polish leader to condemn this appalling act in the strongest possible terms.
