But open world does have its place, especially in games like Spider-Man or Dying Light where there is an emphasis on traversal.
Or for the sake of immersion like Red Dead Redemption.

@Igor_Enotikov @MegaMiyamori Dude when I’m skipping multiple puzzles in a dungeon because of the build mechanic that’s shitty design.
And even if you do the puzzles as intended they are so fucking easy, I’m not asking for it to be hard, but at least make me think a little.

The hover bike although not the fastest thing you could make was the most maneuverable, lasted 30 mins, and used almost no resources.
It was definitely the fastest way to get around especially over difficult terrain.

The worst part of botw, the shrines come back and now there’s 150ish great.
The new abilities are overpowered and break many of the puzzles.

@MegaMiyamori Straight upgrade my ass, sky islands are empty the underground is empty. The dungeons although visually stunning were mechanically baby easy.
The story was shit and getting it out of order made it even worse.

@CryptumZetaXV From a lore perspective I never understood why the elites spoke English during combat in some games. I understand for cutscenes because the player needs to understand what’s happening. But in combat it’s kinda silly.

We live in this weird age of Halo where you can customize your gameplay in anyway you want but people still complain.
Don’t want sprint? Turn it off
Want a 60 round AR? Do it!
Want third person? Go ahead!
Don’t like the HUD? Change it!

@HelmBreaker21 I don’t think I’ve ever encountered this. Typically if I like a game I might mod it, if I don’t like a game then I still won’t like it with mods.
For example Minecraft no matter how many mods I put into it, it still doesn’t appeal to me.

I don't think y'all realize how incredible the visuals are in Halo Campaign Evolved. This is one of the, if not THE best looking FPS game I've seen. It's actually wild to experience it first hand.
