They are using peroxide because it is a strong oxidizer that will kill off algae and also breaks down into harmless O2 and H2O so is safe to use in something that people and pets will come into contact with (vs chlorine as is typical in swimming pools). But its a very temporary fix. The benefits won't persist so they are likely trying to stop the bloom from continuing. The darker bottom will cause more rapid heating of the water which will cause blooms to happen faster and with higher intensity. They are also fertilizing the nearby lawns and that runoff will increase the problem. Without a filtration system and chemical management, the algae will always come back.

I think another possibility is a projectile fired by highly compressed air. Look up PCP air rifles on YouTube and listen to them fire. Then watch this clip of the shot …I personally think it sounds identical. I could be wrong but compressed air would explain his shirt being “blown” back. Just my thought.

Yes, I have seen it too. Sometimes I wonder if that was staged for the lady holding her cell phone as she walked up. It looked like a synchronized behavioral pattern. Also, did you notice the person who was getting out the vehicle with Blake Neff, in the background? He appeared to be gesturing toward Hunter Kozak to Blake Neff.
