@Sorazure15 The book is just hype moments and Aura. But it really falls apart when you look at whats actually being said. Jason Aaron is one of my least favourite writers of all time and i cant understand how so many people gas him up. My quest for a good jason aaron book is never ending

@CaptainSaltiest I do agree with this, this is more apparent I think in issues 7-11 where everything is very hand holdy in what the story is trying to “say” ; and Gorr does end up meeting a somewhat under baked end

@Sorazure15 When i looked at the book and i really analyzed the words on the page and the story Jason Aaron was telling i was bored. He just does not allow the art to speak for itself he always has to explain whats happening on the page

@Sorazure15 Thats been my problem consistently with Jason Aarons writing as a whole. He works with the best artists in the game and has good ideas, but the actual writing itself has little to no substance.

This game is NOT just "Star Fox 64 again", if anything it's a big homage to it, it takes its ideas and does them bigger and grander with completely new dialogue, story beats and levels, I feel like people are only parroting what Nintendo reviewers say without actually playing it

A big problem facing Absolute Batman is that "First look at Absolute [classic character]" is the only card Snyder seems to be able to play. It's the only thing that can get people talking month-to-month, and they've already gotten to most of the heavy hitters in less than 2 years

I am going to ignore how this entire list is about either what the player can do or how the game is easier (comes with the territory with this player type) But "responsive controls" is just ridiculous, we are talking about Sifu 2: The Blowbang here

@Adryahh @LexiTalksComix Yeah, his youth is so important to his character in this early age. The ultimates dont want to get him involved in anything because he’s younger than Peter. However he is more powerful and that creates really compelling drama.

@RealTruggler Idk if i agree with this fully, Miller’s batman is more so a libertarian. When you look at the criticism of Reagan its coming from a right libertarian perspective. Gotham is crime ridden hell hole that still requires a tough on crime approach.
