@gonergnostic @hellhound33334 maybe thats true, i think im a little averse to the player existing in the manner the player exists in real life because its too solid, maybe its the theologically interested part of me, i kind of want there to be a disconnect, for the player to exist through a veil

@CherryPixie3 @hellhound33334 chara and gaster both have moments where they wonder what kind of thing you are. chara's puzzled by your "perverted sentimentality", gaster finds your every action fascinating and on weird runs like no achievements he outright questions "what are you?"

@hellhound33334 @gonergnostic i never got the impression that there was any notion of how well chara or gaster knew what the player is because it didnt feel relevant to me? maybe thats a reading from ignorance but does it actually matter? does the diegetic player need to have a concrete shape to the character

@gonergnostic Chara knows of you but doesn’t know what you are and I think Gaster has a much better idea but still doesn’t fully grasp it

Torn here. On the one hand I like lands and defend them to the death, and also I think part of this is clearly "u see when randoms trash ur game more than when posts trash on their game" but in the other hand the enemy of my enemy is my friend and my enemy is commander players

@MaroonKennedy @Chronovadia if you watch the video youll see that its kinda the opposite? scimitars conflate many different kinds of curved swords, it would be more precise to say that not using the word scimitar opens the door to even more cool sword types!

Watched skittybittys video about the Gerudo because i wanted to learn about the whole issue surrounding the Gerudo since it's easier than asking oomfs. Honestly yeah its as good as people have described it, i didn't even know Scimitars aren't a real weapon.

I can understand if Mr. Fox wants to understand the language and oversee the translation to ensure its accuracy to his vision. I can even understand that since his games were so inspired by Japanese games that JP translation would be his highest priority.
