@Shadaya_Knight It was the year 2000, if I’m not mistaken. A young Zimbabwean came down from the mountains side his trousers torn, barefoot, under the scorching heat of 38 to 40°C. It was heartbreaking to witness such suffering. We couldn’t just stand by we gave him shelter, food, and clothes.

An incident in Sunnyside alleges that a police officer arrested an Ethiopian man found with a large amount of cash, but the money was not officially booked as evidence. Instead, the man detained on drug-related charges before the arresting officer left the station. A case has since been opened with police regarding the matter.
