@wonderofscience We're all just things trying to make ourselves feel comfortable on this crazy planet
English

@bismanblog @MattHar65517869 If you grew up in the 90's with your parents working paycheck-to-paycheck, you'd quickly learn that the check was either "coming today or tomorrow." Rarely, it'd take a 3rd day. In that era, you just planned around this stuff. Time was just slower then
English

@MattHar65517869 Yeah, but your grand plan implies you trust the United States Postal Service to deliver your checks to their intended recipients on time, if at all. That’s its fatal flaw.
English

@MensHumor I get the sentiment but I think it's just an overplanning issue. Just find one app, get comfortable with it and avoid decision fatigue from too many choices
English

@BenjaminDEKR Same reason they have doormen. Welcoming first impression amongst other reason
English

@Getthebagcoach Limited point of view. AirBnBs are good for longer term travelers who want to "feel at home" at cook their own food. Hotels are good for vacations or not wanting anything to do with anything AirBnB related
English

@bluhbonk @ByMattWild Milwaukee. It's just on Oakland ave, lol
English

@nocontextmemes I used to think that EVERY flight I was on was always early. Until I realized that the times you see on the ticket are gate-to-gate. Not takeoff to landing 🤣
English

@ryanmcfadden_ No one wants to talk about this but there are ballers who play very well without pads. The ones in the NFL are the ones who are good in pads
English

@letsrolepod @Degen_CPA Ya, people like to shit on a place without actually having lived there. Opinion on something they haven't experienced. Incredible really
English

@Degen_CPA 99.9% of the dudes in these replies have never been in Thailand for more than 2 weeks.
Stop getting your information from Hollywood movies and x comments. When I got out of the army I spent a year backpacking and in my 2 months in Thailand met some incredibly serious dudes.
English

Doesn’t offset the downside of living in Thailand
Documenting Saylor@saylordocs
$5,000/month USD is around $155,000/month in Thailand. That’s luxury condo, daily massages, great food, zero stress. You’re not rich in the West… but you live like a king in Thailand. Now you understand why people are moving there.
English

@4evrnyt @grantcohn You underestimate the amount of jet sweeps this guy is gonna run
English

@grantcohn 4.5 million is too much for a guy who literally only returns kicks.
English

The 49ers should have paid him. He's an elite returner.
49ers & NFL News 24/7@49ersSportsTalk
The #Packers officially signed WR Skyy Moore to a 1YR deal worth up to $4.5M, according to a source. The #49ers were not willing to go that high and believe they have internal talent/draft to find a replacement.
English

@techdroider Nah, after 2 years with the boxy design, I've realized the rounded corners have greatly been missed
English

Samsung's biggest mistake was making the S24 Ultra too good. Titanium frame, sharp boxy design, beautiful colors, best anti-reflective display, and even Bluetooth in the S Pen.
Now the S26 Ultra somehow feels like a downgrade. When you set the bar that high, people expect the next phone to be better. Samsung forgot that part.

English

@jayvraavi Met a few people on there, honestly one of the best apps for travelers
English

@tenobrus So there was zero recorded usage online from 2004-2006? And that proves it wasn't used before, in all of history?
English

Twitch continues to deteriorate as a platform because what do you mean I can't TAB OUT TO MY SECOND MONITOR DURING THE AD BREAK
I NEED TO FOCUS THE TAB AND THE WINDOW FOR THE AD TO PLAY??????
@TwitchSupport @Twitch what the actual fuck is wrong with you

English

@20thcentury WHAT! Is this only US or are there other countries?
English

@financedystop They've had robots like this as early as 2019 when I saw one at an airport in Seoul. Experienced my first hotel robot in China in like 2022 or 2023. It's super interesting how it can navigate the elevators, especially.
