@JapanDeepValue1 @taobanker Look at how that turned out for $CRH-US (well). That would also pressure the TSE to get issuers in line further.

the reality is almost nothing should be listed in Japan. I keep saying it over and over, but not sure the audience fully understands why. even this 5233 should not be listed here lets be honest just put the whole thing on the NYSE and let Americans price the US biz and discount the Japan thing to zero for all I care

Remember in 2022 when I told you all this bailout would happen and you ridiculed me? I do. Receipts kept: “A private Canadian investment firm has teamed up with a provincial Crown agency to purchase and convert some of the growing inventory of unsold condominiumsin the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)”

The LFS data in Canada is pure noise. In Sept 2025, CA added 118k jobs and later revised down to -58k. For comparison with US data, that’s like saying we had the best jobs month in history (+1M) and then revising it, actually it was one of the worst in history (-500k). Maybe it was a terrible report but it might turn out to be a nothingburger.
The Klendathu Cap@KlendathuCap

If you adjust for population this would be as if the US lost over 700,000 jobs in a single month. To put this in further perspective, the most jobs the US ever lost in a single month (outside of covid) was March 2009 where it lost 824,000 jobs.

i once worked at a place where this system was so hard to move off of - we had a perma task force running - but could not find a solution so we had to literally hire the guy who created it, way back in the day, just to maintain it after the vendor sunset it.

tell me you've never been inside of an org that depends on shitty 80s sw that barely works but it literally has all the rules for the most critical shit they do in there like custom pricing management and so all new hires have to spend months training - without telling me
Fabricated Knowledge@fabknowledge

Honest something that kind of sucks for SaaS is they cannot bottom out like cigarettes because unlike cigs, SaaS customers are not literally addicted to the poison lmao we are getting pretty close.

What are the compliance rules, if any, for finX stock pitches, etc.? i.e., if there were a compliance guy, what would he say not to do / what not to post.

M made ~$19 million investing in Hemacare. I suspect there are many 70+ year olds that amassed $25mm+ investing in these unknown stocks. Beautiful tribute from NoNameStocks.

$FFH.TO holding $AGTF.TO announced its IPO on Friday after the close. A co-founder/employees and potentially OMERS are sellers. FFH is exercising warrants at C$22.50 with proceeds used to repay debt to itself. CEO and FFH are locked up. Small position, big business.
