I don't want them to pander to me, I would prefer if they just did their own thing and took it in a new direction. There is a whole new generation of kids playing the game, make something for them. If they want old school D&D, its right here waiting for them.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I think it would be worth expanding a bit on how I see this. You may have noticed over the last little while that there have been a lot of sequels and attempts to make older properties into franchises.

This movie was flat out awesome

Bong Joon-ho designed the creature in The Host (2006) to be physically incompetent. He disliked perfect movie monsters and specifically instructed the animators to make the beast trip, slip, and fumble, so it would feel like a mutated biological error.
