@sahandy89 If someone's alive, obviously they want to live enough to play game theory with.
Stop falling for "surely they'll nuclear first strike us in the hopes we'll nuke them back, so attacking them over and over can't make things worse." Idiot propaganda for dumb babies.
English

@wokeandwoofing I think you mean "deliberately distorting their own sources." doi.org/10.5281/zenodo…

@thackerpd @nytimes @thetimes ... But when the both sidesism includes laundering an ideological hack job that anybody with two brain cells can tell was an ideological hack job, pretending it's a "cautious" serious report, then that's just propaganda.
English

@thackerpd It's @nytimes "both sides" style propaganda, so it's not as blatant as e.g. @thetimes' shrieking attempts to get trans people fired or to defend calls for violence against trans people in bathrooms. And it did include some bits that were interesting (the F.G. interview). But...
English

@BevJacksonAuth That's a lot of words for "I want to pretend trans people don't exist."
English

Many of those arguing today in favour of the now paused trial of puberty blockers in the UK - in the parliamentary debate in Westminster Hall - start their speeches with the words “If we accept that trans people exist..”
What does this mean?
“If we accept that some children are born in the wrong body”?
No we don’t. Of course we don’t.
This is a quasi-religious belief.
No one is born in the wrong body.
You are your body.
Children should be taught to love and take care of their bodies.
“If we accept that trans people exist” completely ignores the fact that many children adopt a trans identity - especially in the turbulent years of adolescence - only to change their minds later.
Again and again we hear from gender identity activists that there is nothing pathological about a “trans identity.” It is not a disease. If that is true, it is clearly illogical - not to mention unethical - to medicalise such children: rendering them infertile, in many cases with poor or no sexual function, and exposing them to numerous serious health risks.
“If we accept that trans people exist” ..
Everyone accepts that there are adults and children who call themselves “trans.”
We can all accept that.
No such (often temporary) label requires a response in the form of harmful drugs.

@ImtiazMadmood So instead of buying it from a human he bought it from a robot, and then everyone clapped. Ok.

A Stanford student got reported for academic misconduct last semester.
His research paper was so good his professor assumed he bought it.
The academic integrity hearing lasted 3 hours.
Here's what happened in that room.
The panel asked him to explain his methodology from scratch. He opened his laptop, pulled up Kimi.com, and started rebuilding the entire paper live in front of them.
First he fed it his raw notes and asked: "You are a research methodology expert. Here are my raw notes. Identify the 3 strongest arguments buried in this data, rank them by originality, and show me exactly where each one challenges or extends existing literature."
The professors went quiet.
Then he ran: "Now simulate a hostile peer reviewer with a PhD in this field. Generate every serious objection they would raise against my thesis. Then tell me which objections actually have merit and which ones I can dismantle."
One professor leaned forward and asked him to stop so she could write down the prompt.
He kept going. "Take my weakest argument and steelman it harder than I did. Show me what it would look like if it were airtight. Then tell me what I'd need to prove to get it there."
Then the one that ended the hearing. "You are my thesis advisor. I have 24 hours before submission. Read this draft and tell me the single change that would move this from a B+ to an A. Be brutal."
He walked them through how he'd used that last output to rewrite his conclusion three times until it held up under every objection in the room.
What took most PhD candidates 6 months of back-and-forth with advisors, he was doing in real-time inside a single workflow.
The panel didn't just clear him.
They gave him the highest grade in the department's history and asked him to present the workflow to faculty.
The irony is beautiful. The paper looked too good to be human because he'd found a way to think harder than most humans bother to.
That's not cheating. That's the new ceiling.

My piece on my endometriosis and why a man should not represent those who suffer from its agonies. The @DailyMail has consistently supported women in the foul battle against men claiming to be women - as has @thetimes and @Telegraph. Alas for the Left!

@JournalistJill So you specifically hate her for being trans. Gotcha. Weird ass nazi freak

@danielgothits It's 10% to troll you ("get a reaction and shock people"), 90% to filter you out. It works; I assume you'd swipe left.
English

I’ve seen many liberal girls do this including when I lived in Brooklyn, they’ll gleefully say the most evil stuff possible (“I LOVE abortions, they’re awesome!” etc) just to get a reaction and shock people while acting like that’s not actually the goal of it
It’s a basically a form of liberal extreme sports which is “look how cool I am because I’m so flippant about something you hold as sacred, that makes me edgy and high status, while you are traditional and low status”
But when you dig even a millimeter deeper they’re usually very hurt people, often abandoned by their dad or even downright abused in childhood etc
So they have basically been possessed by demonic energy, that’s why they’re all so violent and insane
The worst part is that deep inside there is a sweet and normal person in there begging to come out but they don’t know how. It’s a cry for help more than anything else.

The weirdest thing about Disney live action remakes is the entire film is still animated with the exception of close up shots of a handful of human actors lol

I love how cats are smart enough to notice that cameras are odd and different from the rest of their scenery, but not smart enough to understand out what a camera is, so they end up just sniffing the lens for a bit before getting bored and walking away.

@Belle_Jam_Jarr @EleanoraStats And be less gullible. When @thetimes constantly targets trans people—from trying to get a health advocate fired, to pretending a thug who called for physical assault of trans women was "cancelled" over "jokes"—the problem isn't trans people, the problem is @thetimes being nazis.
