So, we use @DealNav as our CRM at the office. It’s legitimately awesome and built by real estate people. My team wanted a feature built (pins on a map that shows deals nearby that you’ve also looked at) and they built it custom for us. Pretty badass and helpful. Anyway, I said I’d show @acquisizioni some Twitter love as a thank you, and totally forgot. Because, ya know, I’m busy and shit. So he busted my chops and now I’m making an offer to all my followers that he has not approved at all. Try @DealNav and they’ll give you the first month free if you mention this tweet. Also, you should think of any insane feature you can possibly imagine and see if you can get them to build it for you. Honestly, see how far you can push the envelope. And because I don’t get paid for any of this and I love supporting entrepreneurs, please keep me posted on the insane features you request. If you end up with great software and @acquisizioni has a nervous breakdown in the process, that would warm my heart.

Wow. Just had @jdub_re walk me through how he’s using Claude Cowork and @DealNav together and it blew my mind. He kept laughing at me saying how easy it was, but I may be the least tech advanced tech founder in the world 😂 He’s dropping OM’s and emails into Claude and having it update Dealnav using the Chrome browser plug-in. Not perfect but better than forgetting about them (the deals). I think we’re gonna whip up a quick recording to share with users on how he did it. The next level ⬆️ is obviously having someone like a VA layer on calls, research, setting up appointments to this process… which I have more to share about soon!

Had dinner last night with a Land seller who is also a @DealNav user who just hired “the best acquisitions person he’s ever met.” First thing the new guy shared with him? “You need to check out this deal tracking software called DealNav.” I swear this is close to word for word. I was dying.

Excited (and a little embarrassed) to share that after almost 2 years in existence, @DealNav is finally a proper CRM! What do I mean? When I first gave direction to the freelance software developer I hired to create the platform, I only included the fields I cared about: acres, units, name, address, and the owner. When we launched to the public, we added a few more (year built, SF, type) as well as “Tags”, which was a workaround of sorts. Eventually, people wanted to get really specific (watts, cap rates, occupancy, etc.) and compare these fields in the list view as well. After some hard work from @TheJackStrick, we finally went live last week! Add custom fields to both property pages as well as contact pages and then compare them all in the list view where you can filter, sort, rearrange, and export everything to Excel!
