@RudisRowley @JoeKania3 Lol, if you’d taken 2 seconds to look at my profile you’d see I was on the team with him 🤡. I was clarifying the comment since it was not correct.

#Lions fan Ryan Kennedy has filed a $100M lawsuit against #Steelers WR DK Metcalf and the media company tied to Chad Johnson and Shannon Sharpe, alleging defamation, negligence, and more. Kennedy says he was falsely branded a racist in national media following a Dec. 21 altercation with Metcalf at Ford Field — accusations he vehemently denies. His attorney says no audio or video evidence supports claims that racial slurs were used, and alleges the narrative spread widely across major media outlets, causing severe personal and professional harm. Kennedy is also suing Metcalf for assault and battery and the Steelers for their alleged liability in the incident. He is seeking damages and court-ordered public retractions to clear his name. If a coach: •Leaves the coaching area toward the mat during live action •Loudly counts down time •Does so incorrectly, creating confusion That directly violates: •3.1.3 (entering the wrestling area) •3.1.4 (distraction / interference) •5.12.1–5.12.2 (coach misconduct affecting the match) Officials are specifically empowered under these rules to stop the match and assess penalties for this behavior.

I looked into and you are in fact allowed to count.
Cornell Kevin@Cornell_Kevins

@CPyles8 Shapiro/Larkin 7 sec left in 2nd, Zeke runs onto the mat shouting above the crowd the countdown 2 sec ahead of what it was and it worked as Meyer stopped two sec prior giving up the td. Is this legal? That 3 pts more substantial than 1pt illegal hold at the end.

@dbeshada1 @chriswayne35 Apparently this is facts: patting opponent on the chest post-match warrants getting kicked and trying to throw hands

Unpopular opinion - Brock Hardy should receive as much heat for instigating the conflict as Davis is taking for retaliating. Both have culpability here. Belittling someone after pinning them in front of 13,000 fans, in the guy’s home gym, is not an “upstanding” move. It doesn’t excuse the retaliation, but it deserves criticism. I’m a huge Brock fan. Love his story, his attitude, and everything else about him. But, the chest tap was a poor decision. Very poor, especially from one of the game’s “elder statesman”.

Columbia defeats Cornell 22-21 on criteria due to injury default. At 184, Christian Hanson was winning and while in scramble, blew his knee out as the official was not paying any attention to his knee. z The heavyweight match came down to SV where Columbia secured the takedown to tie it 21-21. Meyer had Cornell’s lone pin. Columbia had a pin at 125 (Greg D was winning 6-1 and got cradled and pinned). The injury default ended up being the tie breaker in falls. Cornell had a substantial lead in match pts but it didn’t matter.

It bugs me that the rankings for Olivieri and Simon Ruiz are so high. (and keep in mind, no one banged the drum for Ruiz more than me). i get their ranking coming into the season, but not now. i'd move them both down. not b/c i really care about the rankings themselves, but because of their inevitable influence on seeds.

January 31st Looking like I will be making the 2 hour drive there and back to Ithaca. Grey, don’t disappoint, Have Meyer out there for both matches cause they are going to be entertaining to watch. 1pm Columbia @ Cornell 3pm Arizona St @ Cornell @ 1pm, Meyer will wrestle my dark horse of the year, Kai Owen (Columbia) who just won the F&M Open this past weekend by pinning #13 DJ McGee in the finals. Owen is 11-1 with his only loss coming to Joe Sealey who he was beating 8-1 before he broke his fingers. Shapiro and the Big Red will finish that match up and immediately start their dual with the Sun Devils. @ 3pm Kaleb Larkin moved up a weight so he goes from wrestling one stud in Joy who teched him in the 1st period to another stud in Meyer Shapiro. Also decent match @ 133 lbs The Tyler vs Kyler match or we could call it the battle for true second at CKLV as Ferrara took 3rd and Larkin took 2nd.
