@langchain I think when the market of "ai" building libraries matures, the absolute quality of engineering matters. My bet is on @pydantic ecosystem (pydantic-ai, logfire, pydantic-eval) Context: I work with both of them in my daily job.

Framework (eg @langchain) bundles with opinions or say views. It limits the action space so you feel you are guided (and it is). In the era of LLM everyone is desperate to use "ai" for something. I think that's one of the main reasons it gets wide adoption at the beginning.

@BenjaminWootton @meltanodata @SlackHQ As far as I know, there are no exceptions for open communities anymore -- they just need to be on the free plan (or one of the cheaper plans and eat the cost). Our community Slack was on the free plan, until Slack inadvertently "upgraded" it to Enterprise Grid :(

@opensourcerer @meltanodata In ELT, transformation takes place in the destination data warehouse after the data has been loaded, instead of in between extraction and loading (ETL). Meltano uses dbt's SQL-based models to handle transformation: docs.getdbt.com
