Ignore the ugly UI for now, but one thing I am pretty proud of: Pro features are shown in an info sheet, and once you hit Hide, it disappears forever. No constant reminders, no clutter, and no stuff hanging around that you can’t use unless you pay.

@JZivanDesign I bought a base M4 Mac Mini recently to use as a CI machine, and it’s crazy how much faster everything runs when compared to my 2020 M1 Pro MacBook! I’ve been tempted to use it as a dev machine instead of a CI machine 😅

Alright… 2020 MacBook Air, you've served me well. But in this age of AI, I'm going to have to let you go. I'm leaning toward the Mac Mini M4 Pro.

I’m using a String Catalog instead of an xcstrings file, but I have a python script that detects if there are any missing strings, and if there are, it auto-translates them with the OpenAI API! It works great but exporting/importing the strings from the String catalog with xcbuild takes a moment

What tool do you use to auto-translate the xcstrings file?

I did the exact same thing over the weekend, and my release pipeline went from 30+ minutes on Xcode Cloud to just a few minutes! 🙌 The only downside I’ve found is that when using GitHub Actions, your Mac can only run one job at a time. When the jobs run so quickly, it’s not that big of a deal though!

We've switched from Xcode Cloud to a self-hosted Mac Studio to build our PRs. Build time went from +10 minutes to 20 seconds per target. Not sure if we were doing something wrong or not, but in our case it makes no sense to pay for a service this slow. 🐌 #xcodeCloud
