@HelpImACell@British_Airways They did make it however there were more issues at T5 with both the computers glitching and the belts at bag check-in and they had to be manually taken away. Hopefully they fix the mess they made
@British_Airways Flying out of Heathrow T5 tomorrow morning, can you just confirm that the baggage situation is sorted and will be on my flight and reach my destination ?. Will save me having to bring a extra case as carry on with the essentials, cheers
@British_Airways Is it possible to cancel my connecting flight from LHR to MAN? I would rather get my bag in T3 and use the train rather than risk my bag getting stuck in T5 for 6 days when I fly to another country in 5 days...

Chaotic luggage check in at London terminal 5.
Luggage missing in Houston and extremely poor customer service from their Houston check in desk staff.
BA should be ashamed of such poor service.
@British_Airways hello! So I have packed 6 days worth of clothes + pair of boots (that I had to purchase due to the delay) into my case on top of what I had planned to bring. If it is overweight, because of this, do I have to pay the overweight fee? Or can it be waived.
@British_Airways So its in the air to the USA despite me updating online + the phone that I want it delivered to my home in the UK. Website still says 'searching for your bag'....

@British_Airways I was told 72h for an update, its been 4 days. My bag is still 'lost'. I have things in that bag that are irreplaceable and I need them again by next Monday. My baggage report has had NO UPDATES!
@British_Airways do I have to wait for you to deliver my baggage that you are still 'searching for' despite it being in the same place in the airport since Friday? Or can I pick it up on my way through Heathrow...
I will also be buying like for like item replacements.
@WhereRoss Yep. A lot thats essential for a conference with a gala dinner + excursions! First time leaving EU and I doubt I will again at this point. Had so much hassle and stress.

@HeathrowAirport what's happening with the T5 baggage disaster? BA have given me no updates since Friday. If it is still at the airport on Friday when I return, can I retrieve it myself??
72 hours and counting. Suitcase still missing. No update from @British_Airways and their online tracking service still says 'searching'. I know you have a backlog, BA, but surely you have an idea by now of how long it will take to clear it?
@marialouise_c@christails@British_Airways Ditto. At a conference with no time to get to the shops around it - not sure how I'm meant to get enough clothes with 0 idea of when the bag will turn up or if they will even cover the like for like items!!

Thinking of cutting my holiday short since @British_Airways have lost my case and I’ve already had to spend £400 of my own money on basic clothing and provisions. As usual the BA app is garbage and no option to change. If I book a new flight can I charge it back to them?
@British_Airways hello! So I flew out of Heathrow today and upon check in wasn’t alerted or any baggage issues. I’ve arrived at my destination and my bags still at Heathrow. Apparently there was issues yesterday into today. What do I do till my bag arrived in 24 hours??
