@AllenKessler It's creeping up here in Colorado as well. We've always had cheaper gas than California and Nevada but now we are closing in on joining them. Almost to the point it will be cheaper to just walk.

What happened with gas prices in Vegas? I was gone a few weeks and came back to this.

@GodMode248 When interviewing dealers for Shuffle Up and Deal With It, a dealer admitted to palming chips at a home game they dealt during COVID. They made bank doing this.

Back in the day when I first started a dealer was stealing money out of pots. Every time he pushed a pot to someone he would say "1 banana, 2 bananas" We just thought he was some crazy talkative Asian dealer. Come to find out when he said "1 Banana , 2 bananas" he was palming $5 chips. He was making thousands a day doing this trick. He was fired and I never saw him again.

This is too grossly impressive not to share... I wore new high heels on Tuesday for the charity poker event and my feet did NOT appreciate them. This blister is so bad that the ligament in my right ankle is f'ed up from twisting so much to avoid putting pressure on it when walking. 😵‍💫

@SoberWithConnor I have been sober since June 2012. I almost lost my wife and children because of my drinking which started as a coping mechanism after medically retiring from the Army in 2010. I finally forgave myself in 2018 when I became a grandfather. My wife and I have been married 30 years.

how long into sobriety did it take you to forgive yourself? i’m at day 125 but im still nowhere near it yet. some parts i’ve forgiven myself but i will never ever forgive myself for losing my dream job (i cry about this nearly every day) and losing my girlfriend.
