Due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia, global crude oil prices have surged from $70 to $122 per barrel in just one month. While most countries worldwide, including developed nations in North America and Europe, have passed this burden onto their citizens with a 30-50% hike in fuel prices, India’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has demonstrated true pro-people leadership. Instead of burdening the common man, our NDA government has taken a direct hit to its own finances by slashing the excise duty on petrol from ₹13 to ₹3 per litre and on diesel from ₹10 to ZERO. The government is absorbing the massive losses currently borne by oil companies and has decisively imposed an export tax to ensure refineries prioritize Indian consumers over foreign profits during this crisis. Ever since the global conflicts began four years ago, the NDA government has consistently shielded Indian citizens from economic shocks, ensuring the heat of external wars never reaches our kitchens. On behalf of all citizens, I express my deepest gratitude to Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman ji, and Petroleum Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri ji for this bold, timely, and citizen-first decision. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಏಷ್ಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಘರ್ಷದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕಚ್ಚಾ ತೈಲದ ಬೆಲೆಗಳು ಬ್ಯಾರೆಲ್‌ಗೆ 70 ಡಾಲರ್‌ನಿಂದ 122 ಡಾಲರ್‌ಗೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ ದೇಶಗಳೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿಶ್ವಾದ್ಯಂತ ಬಹುತೇಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ಇಂಧನ ಬೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 30-50% ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡಿ ಆ ಹೊರೆಯನ್ನು ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಭಾರತದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಜೀ ಅವರು ಈ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಬಿಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಜನಪರ ನಾಯಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕ ಹೊರೆ ಹಾಕುವ ಬದಲು ನಮ್ಮ ಎನ್‌ಡಿಎ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು, ತನ್ನ ಹಣಕಾಸಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನೇರ ಹೊಡೆತ ಬಿದ್ದರೂ ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲ್ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಸುಂಕವನ್ನು ₹13 ರಿಂದ ₹3 ಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಡೀಸೆಲ್ ಮೇಲಿನ ಸುಂಕವನ್ನು ₹10 ರಿಂದ ಶೂನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಸಿದೆ. ತೈಲ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಭರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಭಾರತದ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣಾಗಾರಗಳು ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಭ ಗಳಿಸದಂತೆ ರಫ್ತು ತೆರಿಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಧಿಸಿ ದಿಟ್ಟ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ರಷ್ಯಾ-ಉಕ್ರೇನ್ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದಾಗಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳು ಭಾರತೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರದಂತೆ, ಹೊರಗಿನ ಸಮರದ ಕಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಅಡುಗೆಮನೆ ತಲುಪದಂತೆ ಎನ್‌ಡಿಎ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ನಿಗಾ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ದಿಟ್ಟ, ಸಕಾಲಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಪರ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆದರಣೀಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಜೀ, ವಿತ್ತ ಸಚಿವೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಲಾ ಸೀತಾರಾಮನ್ ಜೀ ಮತ್ತು ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲಿಯಂ ಸಚಿವ ಶ್ರೀ ಹರ್ದೀಪ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಪುರಿ ಜೀ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಆದರಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳು.
