"I'm very bullish on El Salvador... I can't wait to see my next visit here." Come see @bitstein on his next visit this November 11-12 for @btchistoricosv "You can really just sense that this is a nation in ascendency" 🇸🇻🚀

"Those foundations are here for El Salvador to be building on in perpetuity." @bitstein is the OG Bitcoin historian, as the founder and president of the @NakamotoInst. His work preserves a digital archive of the most important ideas and conversations from Bitcoin's history and pre-history. In this mini-interview at El Salvador's National Palace during Bitcoin Histórico, the extraordinary event produced by @stacyherbert and @maxkeiser and the @bitcoinofficesv, we discussed: - why Bitstein founded the Nakamoto Institute in 2013 - some examples of their most famous articles and terms they've popularized such as "speculative attack" and "hyperbitcoinization" - his first impression of El Salvador - why it's important for Bitcoiners to understand history If you agree that it's important to preserve Bitcoin's history, you can click the quoted post to learn more about the Nakamoto Institute and support their work:

We’re all feeling the acceleration of change as the singularity unfolds amongst us. I don’t know if it’s grounding or terrifying to juxtapose it against the change of 100 years ago as I watched Downton Abbey film last night. I observed how much change was happening during the 1920s and they had no idea what lay ahead but it was still at a human pace. People adapt. Maybe “we” have learned over the past 100 years how to change more quickly so this accelerated pace of change can be adapted to? We don’t know what lies ahead but I do know embracing the change and adapting will be essential. Change is continuous.

There is great purpose in being a father. Needing to provide and protect one’s family. To care and to love your children and your wife. To give them experiences they will remember as they get older and that they can learn from. Life throws all kinds of challenges at you and the father is the tip of the spear, the shield of protection and the ear that listens.

Unreal founder/CEO comeback story here. Couldn’t be happier for this team! I also met my wonderful co-founder @ethankurz through the Intercom board so will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️
Eoghan McCabe@eoghan

We’re excited to share that we just signed an agreement for @salesforce to acquire @fin_ai for ~$3.6B. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027. Fin started as Intercom 15 years ago. We changed our name to cap our transformation just weeks ago. We were a darling of the SaaS era and invented so many of the patterns you see in software today. Nearly four years ago, in need of a reboot, we jumped on weeks-old modern LLMs to create and define the category we know as Customer Agents today. Salesforce invented modern software and SaaS. And @benioff is like the final boss of tech founder CEOs. In seat for 27 years, he’s one of the last of his era. Still pushing, pivoting, placing big bets. It’s a privilege for @destraynor and I to get to partner with him and join forces with Salesforce upon close at this most fascinating time. And will be very fun to get their help bringing Fin to magnitudes more consumers. To our customers: Over the past few years we’ve been shipping intensely. Including recently our groundbreaking model, Apex, and our paradigm-defining internal agent, Operator. With the resources of Salesforce this will only accelerate. And yet little will practically change. I’ll still be CEO, Des will still be running R&D, we’ll both still be committed to continuing to lead this category. Thank you very sincerely and deeply for your belief in us. To all of our friends, our families, and our employees, past and present: While this is not the end, it is a major, pivotal, special, and emotional moment for us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. For everything. To my cofounders, my exec team: Look what we built. Four young lads with a dream and nothing to lose. And a home grown exec team who pulled off the greatest and arguably only late stage software company pivot to AI, and invented one of the most important categories in AI. Thank you for sticking through all of this with me. And now, time to get back to work. See you at our next product launch in a couple weeks. (:

📊 Who’s the most successful seed investor? According to Dealroom’s latest ranking, Y Combinator leads the industry with 133 seed investments that went on to become unicorns. Top 5: 🥇 Y Combinator — 133 🥈 SV Angel — 77 🥉 Sequoia — 59 4️⃣ 500 Global — 38 5️⃣ Andreessen Horowitz — 37 One important caveat: this ranking measures the total number of unicorns created, not the success rate of investments. Scale matters. The more shots you take, the more chances you have to hit a unicorn. The real lesson? Venture capital remains a power-law business where a handful of outliers drive the majority of returns.

why tokenisation could make sense for early stage robotics builders? it funds hardware, enables real world deployments and build an early community before mass-scale commercialization is even possible. it gives your earliest believers upside when near-term utility is still unproven (which is still the case for most robotics use cases). one day it might all make sense in hindsight. if you have got a crazy idea you have always wanted to build, we want to make it happen and be your first believers. @virtuals_io

this project would be nothing without @virtuals_io and @eastworlds_io who were supporters from day 1 grateful for all their help

Lars Andersen
Lars Andersen@LarsAnders1620·
