#OneBattleAfterAnother is a grand, epic and sensational cinematic achievement worthy of defining a decade and a generation. As intense as it is comical. Despite its long runtime, it manages to never be boring with its frighteningly-timely political message and there’s not a single scene wasted. Everything is firing on all cylinders from the pitch-perfect direction, an A+ cast on the top of their game, immaculate cinematography, editing, sound, and score. DiCaprio and Penn are outstanding while a rising star in Chase Infiniti is born. I couldn’t look away once, especially during a scene-of-the-year contender that is quite literally “why we go to the movies.” You could say this is Paul Thomas Anderson’s magnum opus and you may not be wrong but it’s THE best film of 2025 I’ve seen and absolutely lives up to its hype!
