Tonight's dinner was v different fr last night but had to be done!! Our last night in munich for this trip. Well 1 more, but at airport hotel later in April!!! Fun night tho. 😀

Absolutely beautiful morning in Munich. Sunny, start of spring. We first went to St Peters church (13th century) for a beautiful Latin mass. Lunch outside in the sun! 😀

Japanese lunch. Squid and edamame. Seafood stir fry. Sweet and sour duck and veggies in panko with the same sauce. 😋

Interestingly the Canes are yet to play a team in the top 6. There last bye is Easter (same as Brumbies). They then have to play Blues, Chiefs, Brumbies, Crusaders in a month. To go all the way they need to play 11 weeks in a row. Big challenge.

Not every day you need to call Emergency Services but spotted smoke and flames coming from the roof of the Government offices opposite! 🔥 A quick response by Fire Service meant hopefully not too much damage done!

Perfect conditions for the last day of the annual balloon festival today - huge crowds out early to enjoy the spectacle. As usual, Capital Chemist balloon coming in low over the lake to tow some of the kayaks on the water - love it! ❤️

@JuliaTempler @BrydonN2 Fabulous restaurant. That was lobster bisque. Peter had some sort of potato soup. I had the most beautiful chicken dish for main. Friends had cod. Peter had trout on a bed of risotto. Desserts wonderful too.

Well @BrydonN2 thank you soooo much for your restaurant recommendation for Munich. We went there with our friends for husband's birthday tonight. Fabulous 👌 we were in little alcove with 1 other table for 2. Each couple fr that table joined in with birthday wishes!! Great night.
