I've seen many people defending those two Sikh men who were arguing with the Zudio manager after being asked to leave their kirpan (It was a sword) outside at a store in Imphal, Manipur. Many are claiming that the Constitution gives them the right to carry it anywhere, and now I'm also seeing headlines like "SIKH BANNED IN ZUDIO?" which is clearly a misleading way to frame the situation. Those who are supporting those two Sikh men claiming that the Constitution gives them the right to carry Kripan anywhere, ch*tiyo if you've actually read the Article 25 properly, you would know that the Constitution provides both Fundamental Rights and Duties. Yes, Sikhs are allowed to carry a kirpan as part of their religious freedom but this right is not absolute. It comes with reasonable limitations related to public safety and order. In public and private spaces, there are practical expectations such as carrying a smaller, symbolic kirpan (should not be more than 6 inches in length) which the manager also pointed out during the conversation. Also Fundamental Duties make it clear that no one should exercise their rights in a way that creates disturbance or safety concerns for others. Rights mangne se pehle duties bhi fulfill kar liya karo Instead of trying to resolve the issue calmly, those two men deliberately escalated the situation. Rather than understanding the manager's concerns, they brought religion into the debate and the situation was framed as discrimination. It was nothing but a calculated attempt to gain attention and reach, by turning the incident into content for their YT video. Manipur govt should take strict action against those two for spreading misinformation online and disturbing public order.

To all those people who are trolling and writing vile comments about me for speaking to only one side in this Litan Conflict Give me someone from the Tangkhul's side to speak on camera, I visited them twice in their camps, which doesn't look like civilian camp but of armed groups, they didn't speak to us on camera instead choose to have a lengthy conversation off the camera So, it isn't my bias of not speaking to them it is them who doesn't want to explain their side of things on camera While, the Kuki's are speaking amicably on camera and sharing their side of things, the people in Tangkhul camp here in Litan doesn't seem to interact with media, we kept waiting for hours and then were told by their leaders that they are 'media shy,' 'camera shy' and so on. These people weren't locals of Litan Sareikhong, but of other nearby villages as they claim but majority of them were armed and had some reservations speaking to us without consulting with their leaders.
