CAB3: NOT A DONE DEAL. Those claiming that CAB3 is a “done deal” are either deluding themselves or deliberately attempting to mislead. Deep down, they know that nothing without the citizens is ever final. In any society, nothing can be done for the citizens without the citizens. The citizens are the ultimate decision-makers; they alone have the authority to endorse, reject, or seal any deal. As things stand, there is no done deal. In fact, there is no deal at all. Any arrangement that lacks the consent and participation of the citizens remains incomplete and illegitimate. If there is one reality that cannot be ignored, it is this: the citizens are increasingly tired of those who oppress, disregard, and undermine their rights. The only “done deal” may well be that citizens are done with oppression and are ready to reclaim their voice, their power, and their future. #TheNew #TheCitizensMovement

Barely 2 years after he was banned from UK’s Premier Inn hotel premises(video below), MDC leader @DMwonzora’s bank account has been garnished of US2900, by former senior security personnel @mashumba . The US2900 is part of a US7600 court award to Kudzanai Mashumba over unpaid salaries. Mwonzora who assisted Emmerson Mnangagwa amass power to destroy the opposition, and change the constitution, evicted @nelsonchamisa from the MDC Harvest House building, amid other attacks on the opposition party. He therewith saddled self with numerous liabilities including those of Mashumba’s salaries. Soon after this incident, Mwonzora is understood to have rushed to change his bank account. “He instructed his Chinese client to deposit money into a different account, so to evade paying me,” @kudmashumba tells ZimEye. Mwonzora was reached for comment.

IT WAS ALL ABOUT ED POWER GAMES…ED worked with Tshabangu to engineer illegal recalls that ultimately handed ZANU-PF a fraudulent two-thirds parliamentary majority, in clear violation of both the law and democratic principles. Unfortunately, when the recalls began, many failed to recognize that this was part of a long-planned strategy orchestrated by ED. It was never about the claims that the CCC lacked a constitution or formal structures. In Zimbabwe you can not submit party candidates to ZEC without a party constitution. Parliament and Mudenda were in possession of CCC constitution but chose to ignore it on instructions from his Zpf Boss. Those no constitution and nil structures narratives were merely a smokescreen. Some individuals, driven by their disagreements with Nelson Chamisa, celebrated the recalls, unaware that they were in fact celebrating the erosion of democracy and the weakening of our nation. The foundation for the current constitutional amendment agenda was laid in 2023 through those engineered and unlawful recalls. However, all is not lost. The real struggle lies ahead. The task before us is to continue fighting for a Citizens' Government—one that reflects the true will and aspirations of the people of Zimbabwe. The future of our country depends on the determination of its citizens to defend voice, agency and fundamental rights .
