The deals / flows, Apr 16–23, 2026: BitcoinFi Accelerator x Fairmint — $26M in startup funding equity brought natively onchain across the latest BitcoinFi cohort (Draper Associates, Draper Dragon, Thesis, Supernormal Foundation @Strategy — 34,164 BTC acquired for ~$2.54B (avg. ~$74,395 per BTC @_ALCPB — 12 BTC acquired for €0.8M, bringing total holdings to 2,937 BTC Morgan Stanley MSBT — over $139M in BTC accumulated within nine days of launch Bitcoin investment products — $1.116B weekly inflows U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs — $996.4M weekly net inflows, the strongest week since mid-January (IBIT led with ~$906M) The flow was not centered on new private rounds this time. It came through the wrappers around BTC: accelerator-backed equity, corporate treasuries, bank-issued ETFs, and listed investment products. Public markets are doing more of the work now, making it easier for institutions to hold Bitcoin exposure at scale.
