@MericBaglayan @zacbowden I don't have that issue in Windows. Sounds like user error or you don't have Low Latency Profile that's shipping.

"Dell's new XPS 13 is the new best deal in laptops, surpassing the MacBook Neo with a better display, ports, build quality, and performance for the same price." @zacbowden went hands-on with the new XPS 13 and is absolutely convinced it's better than a cheap Apple Neo running an old phone chip (not a high bar, to be honest). At Computex, Dell has Neos on hand for side-by-side comparisons with the new XPS 13, which speaks volumes about how confident they are. (1/2)

@Daniel_Rubino @zacbowden Yes, because adults require waiting at least 2 seconds for the context menu to come up after right clicking their desktop.

@MericBaglayan @zacbowden macOS looks like an OS built for children, and I would be embarrased to use it in public. Fisher Price OS. Also, you missed this part: You can get the Dell with 16 or even 32GB of RAM and upgrade the SSD yourself, because it's a better computer all around.

Excepto VALVe, nadie pensó a largo plazo.
Dexerto@Dexerto

Valve's Gabe Newell believes Steam doesn't have a monopoly, saying that gamers have “enormous choice” about where they buy games “Whether they buy the game on an Xbox, or Steam, or Epic Games Store, or whether they buy it directly from software developers”

@Lukkan99 @eurogamer The diverse indie scene of today simply could not exist if not for Valve. If these attempts to destroy them with such petty lawsuit bombardments succeed, we all will be worse off

Microsoft is so back! This is the Surface Dev Box powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark. Microsoft just turned Surface into a serious local AI workstation brand. The new Surface RTX Spark Dev Box is not a regular mini PC. It’s a Windows 11 Pro developer machine built around NVIDIA’s RTX Spark superchip, with a Blackwell RTX GPU, Grace CPU, up to 128GB unified memory, and up to 1 petaflop of AI compute. That means you can run 120B+ parameter models locally with a 1 million token context, fine-tune models that usually need cloud GPU instances, and build agentic workflows without paying for every single cloud call. The stack is also very real: WSL 2 with GPU passthrough, CUDA support, VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Git, Python, Node.js, AI Toolkit for VS Code, Windows ML with TensorRT, Copilot Runtime, and Microsoft Foundry. This is exactly what Windows needed. Not another thin AI PC with an NPU sticker, but a proper desk-side developer box for local-first AI work. Surface finally has a machine for people building the future, not just consuming it.

Lots of hands on time with early @NVIDIARTXSpark systems today. First up, the @Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition. Very familiar, high quality design with a look and feel of a premium device for this audience. (Note no partner had systems available to turn on outside NV demo room.)

Releasing PlayStation titles on PC was a short-sighted transaction: $23 per console user in exchange for eroding the platform's velvet rope. Reclaiming that essence will be a long road. "We always strive for what is forbidden and desire what is denied." — Ovid, Amores
