@NixonandIke @catholicpat Those aren’t sources, they’re names. A source is a book, a written record, a photograph of actual inscriptions or some other proof of that source. A person is only a source as an eyewitness, which for ancient history is impossible.

@ChrisMarsicano An important topic in the current moment and one I'm trying to learn more about - I would point you toward the WWC report on the subject: ies.ed.gov/ncee/wwc/pract…

@ChadAldeman @EPICedpolicy @Tara_Kilbride @KatharineStrunk @uwasif90 How would we know whether incompletion is due to academics or finances or other? I would imagine it is mostly due to academics early on and shifts towards financial concerns as students progress - this would help me to think through aid instruments that could be targeted later.

Today we Gather to Give! Help us meet our goal this year of 1,000 Bisons giving in 24 hours! Each donor matters. Each gift matters. All students benefit. You can give at harding.edu/gathertogive or on Cash App ($HUalumni).

@doughesm @ChrisMarsicano I'll have to give y'all my thoughts on this sometime, but since ACB is in the mold of Scalia, this is not likely to happen - an originalist wouldn't think that the 8th amendment would be ratified with the intent of outlawing the punishment that was used for all felonies

Now that she’s been confirmed, here’s my hot take on #AmyConeyBarrett:
The death penalty is not long for this world. The right case will unite Breyer, Gorsuch, ACB, Sotomayor, Kagan, and maybe Roberts. The death penalty will end at the hands of a strong conservative majority.

@ChrisMarsicano Well said - David Brooks' current column I believe refutes this strawman argument well
