The NFL says it has been "closely monitoring all developments" in the matter surrounding #Falcons edge James Pearce Jr. Earlier today, Pearce entered into a six-month pre-trial intervention program that, if conditions are met, will result in all charges being dismissed, per attorneys Jacob Nunez and Yale Sanford. This agreement was made in consultation with the city of Doral and the victim, Rickea Jackson. There is no jail time and no admission of guilt.

I see so many opposing fans say this. I want to ask why? What doesn't Nebraska have that say Oregon or Ohio st has that will prevent them from being "relevant"?
I know from an outside perspective Nebraska seems like a lost cause. The reality is Nebraska has everything to compete at a high level as any of the top schools.

Nebraska football would have a chance at being relevant again if they rejoined the Big 12. Compete for some Big 12 titles, make a CFP. They won’t be a consistent CFP contender in the Big 10 for a long time.

You would think a guy that did radio in KC would know that Andy Reid doesn’t heavily implement rookie receiving options into offense. So to assume that the Chiefs would/should not only take one at 9 but then also assume they would/should be a real threat in the offense in 2026 is just wrong.
