@MartinSLewis The smallest Cadbury Easter eggs (Freddy, Buttons etc) . They used too cost £1 two or three years ago and are now smaller and cost at least £1.35.

My mom ALWAYS put an orange in our stocking. We always complained about it and she would say “fruit in winter is rare, and you should remember that. That orange is to make you grateful for what abundance we have.”
As an adult someone told me this is an Irish tradition, and that many families do it. No one else I know did this outside of my aunts and cousins.
Anyone know more about this?
