The HOA said they had an assessment fee of $20,000 per house! They offered to let them pay it off in 10 years! They refused topay it Now all of the homes are being foreclosed on! Turns out the HOA took in advance of $ 300,000 in cash upfront that needs to be paid back to the construction company! If you divide the $300,000 into all the homes it’s about a $20,000 per Home fee!

@LuislikeStocks @anttsinc People voluntarily choose to purchase a home in an HOA, which means they voluntarily choose to live under the rules established by the HOA. They aren't trampling the rights of anyone, they are upholding the covenants everyone agreed to when purchasing their homes.

@OG_GenericName @anttsinc Usually a special assessment, if there ever is one, comes after a home owner association has been in existence a while. It seems strange that the builder of the community would have a lot of work to do that was not included in the sales price of the home. It is ODD at best.

@Elvis_went_home @anttsinc My favorite was the woman who purchased a home in an HOA and failed to read the CC&Rs, Rules & Regs, closing documents on her house. She did sign everything in the escrow process. She cried in my office when I showed her where she signed to pay monthly fees.

@anttsinc Things I learned managing condos/townhomes for 10 years.1) Maturity does not come with age; 2) Board Members are more mature than the average owner; 3) Most people buy condos/THS without reading the documents or review financials. 4) I will never buy in a HOA, if I can avoid it

@anttsinc Her recourse is to sue the party she purchased the home from. The seller is responsible for providing requested documents. Sometimes the HOA facilitates that through a management company, but ultimately it's the seller's responsibility.

@LndamyDark @iris_seraphina Long layer haircut, use shampoo & conditioner for curly hair, use a leave in product that defines the curl. I use Enjoy Movement Control Creme. My hair is down to my elbows.
