BREAKING: LEADERS OF 22 COUNTRIES IN A JOINT STATEMENT ON IRAN & STRAIT OF HORMUZ:
Joint statement from the leaders of the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, Canada, Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Denmark, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Czechia, Romania, Bahrain, Lithuania, and Australia on the Strait of Hormuz.
We condemn in the strongest terms recent attacks by Iran on unarmed commercial vessels in the Gulf, attacks on civilian infrastructure including oil and gas installations, and the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iranian forces.
We express our deep concern about the escalating conflict. We call on Iran to cease immediately its threats, laying of mines, drone and missile attacks and other attempts to block the Strait to commercial shipping, and to comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
Freedom of navigation is a fundamental principle of international law, including under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
The effects of Iran's actions will be felt by people in all parts of the world, especially the most vulnerable.
Consistent with UNSC Resolution 2817, we emphasise that such interference with international shipping and the disruption of global energy supply chains constitute a threat to international peace and security. In this regard, we call for an immediate comprehensive moratorium on attacks on civilian infrastructure, including oil and gas installations.
We express our readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait. We welcome the commitment of nations who are engaging in preparatory planning.
We welcome the International Energy Agency decision to authorise a coordinated release of strategic petroleum reserves. We will take other steps to stabilise energy markets, including working with certain producing nations to increase output.
We will also work to provide support for the most affected nations, including through the United Nations and the IFIs.
Maritime security and freedom of navigation benefit all countries. We call on all states to respect international law and uphold the fundamental principles of international prosperity and security.

This is false, by the way. "99% of the world's genocide scholars" are not making this claim. In fact, when IAGS passed its resolution it was done with ~25% of the voting membership and it was not unanimous.
I can also tell you having been in conferences for genocide scholars, this is not a popular opinion based on the legal elements when applied correctly.
In fact, most that I have seen have found this rhetoric in distorting what genocide is to be flawed and offensive to the work of Rafael Lemkin.

NEW: The regime in Iran launched two missiles at the US–UK airbase Diego Garcia, in the Indian Ocean.
The base is located around 4,000 km from Iranian territory. Fortunately, neither missile hit its target.
Though unsuccessful, this attack proves that Iran possesses missiles capable of reaching much farther than previously assessed — as far as Europe. Until now, it was widely believed their range was limited to about 2,000 km.

If God was creating something entirely new through Jesus—because He was done with Israel—why would He keep calling it Israel?
You Gentile Christians who insist you are “Israel” need to answer a very basic question:
Why reuse the same name?
Why keep the same covenantal language?
Why keep the same promises tied to the same people and the same land?
If the Gentile Church is just “spiritual Israel,” then why not simply call it the Church and leave the term “Israel” behind altogether?
That is the glaring contradiction in your belief system.
The promises of the Old Testament are not abstract—your teachers know this.
They are tied to a real people, a real lineage, and a real land: Israel.
So what happens?
Without Israel, the Church has no claim to the covenants, the promises, or the story. So instead of admitting Gentiles are grafted in, Israel gets redefined into something vague, invisible, and “spiritual.”
And suddenly Jesus becomes a revolutionary who “changed everything”…
…except He didn’t.
He kept the language.
He kept the categories.
He kept the distinction between Jew and Gentile—Israel and the nations.
So what do modern teachers do?
They keep the name “Israel”…
but strip it of its meaning.
Why?
Because if Israel remains concrete, their system falls apart.
It’s nonsensical.
Here’s the point:
If Gentiles were meant to become the new Israel, God could have retired the term Israel completely.
He didn’t.
And if that’s true…
then ask yourself why Scripture still speaks of a “New Jerusalem.”
