Man, bro, I knew it going in and now I definitely know it going out. One of @TonyKhan's biggest assets could very well also be his biggest detriment. The dude doesn't have an unkind bone in his body. He is throughly and genuinely a good-hearted man that can be no other way---it's just his nature and make-up. The guy is just a kind soul---giving him all the credit in the world---based on the culture of selfishness in today's world. And, if you've actually been listening to RussosBrand.com for the last six years---I have been assessing that since DAY 1. It's unfortunate---but---in the wrestling world---that works against you. Look who's at the top of the food chain in the WWE. Look who has all the power. Look at who's been there forever---I promise you---they didn't get there by being "nice guys". But---my advice to TK would be---don't ever change. Don't ever change one iota. The most important thing to any of us should be WHO we see when we look in that mirror every morning, because that's the real, honest to goodness TRUTH and measure of who we really are. Man, I really enjoyed that interview yesterday, and I really do hope there are more to come. And, it's not because I'm "looking for a job", it's because I need more of the positiveness in my life that people like Tony Khan exude. @amazingatheist And the frustrating part is it's impossible to agree with right wingers on this point. They won't say "okay good we agree, let's work towards change", they'll see "see black people commit violence, therefore all black people are violent."

One thing I do agree with right-wingers on is that these repeat violent offenders often get way too many chances. Let's not conflate that too far. Violent crime in this country is way down. According to FBI data, the national violent crime rate in 2022 was about half what it was in 1993, while property crime fell even more steeply. We should not let fear-drunk demagogues turn every clip like this into proof that civilization has collapsed. But repeat offenders, especially repeat violent offenders, do sometimes get a ridiculous number of chances. I don't know if Kevin's number below is accurate, but I watch a lot of True Crime content on YouTube and it's stunning how often the perpetrators of violent crimes have rap sheets from here to the moon. I'm all for giving people chances. But If someone keeps demonstrating, over and over, that they are violent, predatory, and utterly unwilling to live within the most basic boundaries of civilized society, then the public’s right not to be brutalized has to start outweighing that person’s right to their 11th fresh start. When you have a guy walking around, compulsively assaulting and battering people for literally no reason, then that motherfucker needs to be removed from the public space. That doesn't mean he needs to be treated inhumanely, but if he can't exist peacefully with others, than others need not continue to be subjected to him. I think that is simple pragmatism.

Is great the ‘Assembly Cut’ is finally streaming. But if you are gonna stream a version of ALIEN3, I would recommend streaming the A34K ‘LEGACY CUT’ (in 4K), by far my favorite cut of the movie and is free! I choose to buy the disc (you can find copies on Etsy and eBay), this is a good choice for people who don't have the hardware to burn discs or just lazy as I am. Is a 4K UltraHD disc and as I bonus I got the 'Assembly Cut' in 4K too! I'll post the 'LEGACY CUT' trailer in the comments

Why aren’t any of these at risk hospitals publishing their full accounting so everyone can see where they spend their money ? All but one group of hospitals that I have looked at potentially investing in, spend so much on consultants and fees that it’s no wonder they are at risk Plus, I have NEVER seen an industry that is worse than hospitals when it comes to buying medications and items like implants, screws, other devices. They overpay for everything. And then when you show them how to save money, their “supply chain” employees resist any change. They are so set in their ways, it’s a shock more don’t go out of business. Prove me wrong.

Here's how it went: 1. Birth certificate: Contacted the health department of the county where I was born. They OVERNIGHTED a certified copy to me the next day - total cost, $14. 2. SS Card: Contacted Social Security on their site. They asked if I was sure I needed the card, since I 'won't likely be asked for it.' I went ahead and got it - took five business days to arrive - total cost, $0. 3. Marriage License: Went to the 'vital docs' site of the county where we were hitched. Filled everything out online, arrived in three days - total cost, $5. It cost less than $20 to obtain all three certified/legal documents, and it took less than five business days to receive them. Note: if I had lived where I was born or married, it would have been a day. Tops. Anyone telling you this is too hard or unfair is lying and hiding the real reason they want to stop Voter ID. I know you guys knew that already... lol

I walked into Cabela’s tonight for the first time in 5 years. I notice the sign also says Bass Pro. Huh. Whatever. I walk in and they say “welcome to outdoor world!” Uh, ok. Three names? Wasn’t the merger a decade ago? There are more employees than customers. Total crickets. 77,000 empty square feet. The dude at the entry gives me the hard sell to join their rewards program, while the outside air is still on my neck. I’m just here for a knife dude. I won’t be back for another 5 years. I wrangle from his grasp. As we go to leave they push me to join their rewards program yet again. What a trainwreck. This is what poor management looks like.
