Australia is a poster child of political shambles...
48.5c in the dollar, pay for your own healthcare, your own retirement, your own education, 10% GST, 30% fuel tax.....
Houses are the most expensive in the world, we are a net exporter of coal, uranium, LNG and have expensive electricity
Remind me what we get for our 47-48c in the dollar?

@LyleShelton @OMGTheMess No doubt the organisation will pay the Labor politicians and party for this criminal act.
English

Labor has rammed through a special law giving a radical 🏳️🌈 political lobby group a taxpayer-funded advantage that NO other advocacy organisation gets.
Rejected by regulators ❌ Rejected by the courts ⚖️ Still rewarded with a privileged tax break 💰
This is not equality — it’s political favouritism, pure and simple.
Family First will fight to repeal it. Read more 👇
MEDIA RELEASE
Tax breaks for harmful gender lobby must be repealed
Family First will fight to revoke the special taxpayer-funded free ride handed to the radical LGBTIQA+ political lobby Equality Australia last week.
Special legislation passed by Labor and the Greens gives the group which advocates for harmful gender treatments to be performed on children deductible gift recipient status, a tax break on donations no available to other political lobby groups.
Family First National Director and NSW Legislative Council candidate Lyle Shelton said the Albanese Government’s decision to legislate Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status for Equality Australia—despite repeated rejections by the charities regulator and the courts—was an extraordinary abuse of power.
“Equality Australia is not a charity. It is a political lobby group, and the courts have already said so,” Mr Shelton said.
“Yet Labor has rammed through a special law to give it privileged tax status—something denied to other advocacy organisations—effectively putting the taxpayer behind its fundraising machine.”
Mr Shelton said Family First would campaign to overturn the law and restore integrity to Australia’s charitable system.
“Family First will not stand by while Australians are forced to subsidise an organisation that lobbies for policies deeply harmful to children, families and freedom.”
Mr Shelton said Equality Australia had been at the forefront of pushing radical gender ideology, including support for:
•the use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones on gender-confused children;
•referral pathways toward irreversible surgeries, including double mastectomies;
•the erosion of parents’ rights and the ability of Christian schools to employ staff who uphold their ethos; and
•the dismantling of sex-based rights, putting the safety, privacy and dignity of women and girls at risk.
“An organisation advocating for the chemical and surgical medicalisation of children, the erosion of religious freedom, and the removal of women’s protections should not be receiving charitable status—let alone a special taxpayer-funded advantage,” Mr Shelton said.
Mr Shelton renewed Family First’s call for the Governor-General Sam Mostyn to resign her co-patronage of Equality Australia.
Her fellow patron is the radical LGBTIQA+ drag queen Shane Jenek, whose pornographic Facebook page had to be de-linked from the ABC’s Kids’ Community Facebook Page.
“The office of Governor-General must be above politics. Co-patronage with a dangerous role model for children of a deeply controversial lobby group undermines public confidence in that neutrality.”
Mr Shelton warned that the broader implications of the government’s decision were profound.
“There will be no real religious freedom, no free speech, and no meaningful protection for children while governments continue to elevate and fund activist organisations like Equality Australia.
“This is about whether Australia remains a nation where parents can raise their children according to their values, where women’s rights are respected, and where citizens are free to speak without fear.”
Mr Shelton said Family First would take the issue to the next election.
“A vote for Family First is a vote to stop taxpayer-funded activism and restore common sense.
“We will fight to repeal this law, defund radical lobby groups, and put families—not ideologues—back at the centre of public policy.”

@DavidMaywald @LawyersCity In the current world everything a women does is virtuous and approved. Everything a man does is toxic and bad. The narrative is all that matters even if they destroy society and people
English

Inside the Manosphere… or Inside the Mirror?
After watching Louis Theroux's 'Inside the Manosphere' and reading the commentary around it, I couldn’t help but notice something curious…
We’re always quick to diagnose “toxic masculinity” but remarkably reluctant to examine toxic narratives about men.
Apparently, young men are being “radicalised” online.
But young women absorbing a steady diet of:
“Men are trash”
“The future is female" (minus the males)
“Believe all, question none”
…that’s just empowerment, right?
🤔
Let’s call it what it is: two ecosystems with the same problem, and only one of them is allowed to be criticised.
The Satire Writes Itself, Because The Hypocrisy is Overt
If a man says:
👉 “Focus on yourself, build strength, don’t pedestalise others”
He’s accused of promoting selfishness and hate.
If a woman says:
👉 “You don’t need men, prioritise yourself, cut off anyone who doesn’t serve you”
She’s applauded for setting boundaries.
Same message, completely different moral judgements.
Meanwhile, in the Algorithm
We clutch pearls at brash male influencers chasing status and attention… but quietly ignore a much larger industry that's monetising outrage, victimhood, and perpetual grievance.
Because nothing says “healthy relationships” like:
- Teaching distrust as a default
- Framing disagreement as oppression
- Rebranding accountability as “internalised bias”
The Real Issue Isn’t the Manosphere, or the Femosphere
It’s the feedback loop.
Boys grow up hearing they’re the problem.
Girls grow up hearing they’re the priority.
Then we act surprised when:
- Boys disengage
- Girls distrust
- Relationships fracture
…and everyone logs back on to argue about it.
A Radical Idea (Brace Yourself)
What if we tried something tried and tested, which is grounded in Christian morality:
=> Expect character from both sexes
=> Encourage responsibility in both directions
=> Teach mutual respect, not moral hierarchy
Not as catchy as a viral hashtag, but far more effective than blaming one side of the human equation.
Because here’s the punchline:
If your worldview requires one half of humanity to be permanently defective, then it’s not a solution.
It’s just better-marketed division.

@DrewPavlou All that security must be islamaphobic. Doesn’t Albo believe his own statements, and that of all his government ministers that it is the religion of peace? Why is he threatening social cohesion with all his security.
English

This is the level of security that Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese needed to walk through the heavily Muslim Sydney suburb of Lakemba this morning.
Islamist extremists straight up tried to mob him and lynch him. If he didn’t have twenty bodyguards and AFP agents around him, they would have straight up torn him to pieces right then and there. They would have bashed him and torn him limb from limb.
Lakemba is such a beautiful suburb. Diversity is our strength.
English

@AlboMP You and the rest of your criminal gang members have been destroying Australian businesses and Australia's ability to make anything for decades. You do not care about Australia. You have made energy too expensive to have any manufacturing capability. We give away resources.
English

We need to keep making things here in Australia.
For local jobs. And for our security.
Here in Whyalla, we stepped in to support thousands of jobs and keep making steel in Australia.
A year on, steel made here is going into the roads and rail, hospital and schools Australia needs.
Together with Premier Malinauskas, we’re backing workers and building South Australia’s future.

I was trying to explain to someone yesterday why women defend single-sex spaces.
“Imagine you were forced into an enclosed space with a strange man and told to take your top off in front of him. No choice. No opting out.”
“That’s different,” they said. “That’s basically sexual assault.”
“Exactly,” I replied.
“Now imagine the man is wearing women’s clothes - but you still know he’s a man.”
You could literally see the penny drop.
This is the grown-up version of being plied with cider at a party, shoved into a cupboard with a boy - then being told you’re frigid if you don’t do what he wants.
Only now, frigid has been replaced with bigot.

@JohnCleese The real actual physical violence and threats come the other way way around. There is more evidence of threats and real acts of violence occurring by Muslim leaders and idealogical followers towards non muslims than the reverse
English

I think it's some of the stuff about beheading people they disagree with that puts impartial observers off
Annalena Baerbock@UN_PGA
Across the world, Muslims continue to face discrimination, hostility, and even violence because of their faith. This must change. Discrimination or hatred directed at any community because of its religion has no place in our society. Today, marking the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, we reaffirm our commitment to dignity, tolerance, and mutual respect. Standing up against Islamophobia is not only about defending one religious community. It is about defending our shared humanity.
