Was using FSD (Mad Max) on the way home from the gym early this morning
Moving quickly on a winding road when it suddenly started slowing down for no obvious reason
A second later a deer jumped out in front of me!!
If I had been driving (even 10 mph slower)…my truck would be in the shop right now and more importantly the deer would be dead💔
In the dark there’s no way I could have seen it in time to stop…zero chance!!

Might not be a big deal to most, but as a vegetarian for 35 years…I take the lives of animals extremely seriously…so knowing FSD won’t only save my life but the lives of others (2 legs or 4) makes me relax when using FSD

I taught Claude to talk like a caveman to use 75% less tokens.
normal claude: ~180 tokens for a web search task
caveman claude: ~45 tokens for the same task
"I executed the web search tool" = 8 tokens
caveman version: "Tool work" = 2 tokens
every single grunt swap saves 6-10 tokens. across a FULL task that's 50-100 tokens saved
why does it work? caveman claude doesn't explain itself. it does its task first. gives the result. then stops.
no "I'd be happy to help you with that." no "Let me search the web for you" no more unnecessary filler words
"result. done. me stop."

@CaptainGrouper @AsiaTravelerBro @KingCyrusCrypto @AIDRIVR @DavidMoss FSD doesn't turn off when throttle is pushed. It turns off when brake is applied, wheel is turned, or speed is exceeded, seat belts, doors open etc. Sometimes you gotta nudge em to go at lights, so throttle disengage would suck.

@MarioNawfal Well, they put the batteries, the biggest single source of mass in the vehicles, on the bottom of the vehicle. So, yeah, of course it's going to have a low center of mass and have lower chance of rollover.

“Flew 25,000 km — half the globe — just to personally experience Tesla’s smart driving and compare it with Huawei’s smart driving.
I’ll skip the detailed process and go straight to the conclusion:
Under normal weather and road conditions, Tesla’s vision-based routing is first-class. (I didn’t get a chance to test in foggy conditions.) In certain scenarios, Tesla outperforms Huawei. For example, when activating smart driving, Tesla can reverse to avoid a vehicle parked on the left, then go around it and rejoin the road ahead — quite impressive.
Route selection capability is also top-tier. It doesn’t just follow conventional routes but can take shortcuts through residential roads. Acceleration is crisp and decisive, without hesitation…
In short, Tesla FSD is improving very quickly. Physically removing the steering wheel would already present no real obstacles.
I hope China will soon allow Tesla FSD to operate domestically, enabling earlier adoption of L3 and encouraging competition with local manufacturers.”
