According to an estimate by Texas A&M, dairy farms that employ immigrant workers produce 79% of the nation’s milk supply – and the price of milk would double without them.

The costs of striking Iran are real. But so is the nuclear threat.
Iran entered 2026 with enough uranium for 10 nuclear bombs. Before the June strikes, it was days away from enriching enough for 1 bomb—a level far beyond plausible civilian needs.
Operation Epic Fury is working.
We are systematically dismantling Iran’s war machine: missiles, drones, air defenses, navy, nuclear sites, defense industry, proxy networks, central command. In under 3 weeks, the supreme leader is dead, his successor wounded, and Iranian ballistic missile and drone launches are down 90%+. Iran is losing capacity faster than it can create chaos.
"War is never clean. But the strategy—the actual strategy, measured in degraded capabilities rather than cable news cycles—is working."
Excellent article.

(Thread) Obama's diplomacy did a better job handling Iran's nuclear program than Trump's maximum pressure (when he left the JCPOA) or than his bombing. We were safer then than we are now. And we would have been safer had Trump finalized the deal he was negotiating last month.
@WallStreetApes@bennyjohnson Not that it matters, but this is not an Abraham Lincoln quote. Most people know this by now and have removed it from their email signature.
General Michael Flynn warns the reason we will lose our country is because the corruption in our own Congress
“Abraham Lincoln said, we're not gonna die because of an overseas threat. We're gonna die because of our own suicide”
“Trump will sign an executive order, those executive orders will not be adhered to. Hell, we can't even get the Republican party, the Republicans in the Senate to pass an ID check for our voting. I mean, that ought to tell everybody everything, how hard this is going to be.
And this fight that we are raging internally, as Abraham Lincoln said, we're not gonna die because of an overseas threat. We're gonna die because of our own suicide. And he said that at the age of, of 28 years old.”
@Wolverine196@joeroganhq This is your defense? or reaction to the preposterous nature of these payments. If the left would share some outrage on wasted money it sure would help us get along better.
@joeroganhq If John Kennedy could frame an honest argument, maybe we could agree on something. But he can’t. He can’t stop himself from saying cheap crap.
John Kennedy: "You're getting rid of $5.5 million to lesbian, gay biseuxal transgender queer and intersex advocacy in Uganda. I can't believe we're arguing about this."
@nicksortor@grok what is actually in the same act that Democrats are against I know usually legislation has several other items attached to it so tell me three things that they would object to for this piece of legislation
🚨 BREAKING: The SAVE America Act has officially ADVANCED in the House, setting the stage for a full vote on the bill later today

THIS IS 90/10 ISSUE! This needs to be a TOP PRIORITY!
Donald Trump's RCP Average approval rating stands at 42.2%, disapproval at 54.9%; he's underwater -12.7%. Trump and Republicans can smell the bloodbath coming in November midterms. Trump wants the SAVE Act and Voter ID to rig the election to forestall the bloodbath that is otherwise inevitable by disenfranchising blacks, Hispanics, younger voters, senior citizens and people earning less than $30K a year.
Trump is underwater overall and on every issue. This is the driver behind the push to pass the SAVE Act to rig the election.

.@PressSec on the SAVE America Act: "He has been very clear: He wants House Republicans — and Democrats, too, if they were politically wise — to pass this legislation, for the Senate to pass it, to send it to the President's desk so it can be signed into law."
I understand that. I am on the mountain and it sure seems like Snowdancer would be open based on the 11 inches they received last night and the 1 inch per hour coming down now. Why don't they run groomers on a closed run during the day? My main concern is safety. I should have mentioned that. I personally saw several collisions on Kokopelli yesterday. If they can't open it they should limit saddleback riders to every other chair to smooth out the traffic.
@RandySmith100@PCMtnAlert it takes a lot more snow than you think to have the base to keep the run open all year and groom. there's been very limited snowmaking windows the last few weeks... 🤷♂️
🇺🇸 MINNESOTA ALLOWS ONE VOTER TO "VOUCH" FOR EIGHT OTHERS TO VOTE SAME-DAY WITHOUT ID
The same state that can't verify daycare centers also can't verify voters.
Fresh scrutiny is falling on Minnesota's election policy that allows a registered voter to "vouch" for up to eight people seeking same-day registration without ID.
The registered voter simply accompanies them to the polling place and signs an oath verifying their address. That's it.
This combines with a 2023 Walz-signed law providing "Driver's Licenses For All" regardless of immigration status.
Those licenses carry no markings indicating citizenship, even though they're commonly used to register to vote.
Bill Glahn of the Center for the American Experiment witnessed it firsthand:
"I saw somebody vouching in half a dozen people, and they were laughing and giggling like, 'I can't believe this is working.' And I was infuriated seeing this."
Al Franken won his 2008 Senate race by 312 votes.
About 542,000 voters, 19% of Minnesota's electorate, used same-day registration.
State Rep. Kristen Robbins summed it up:
"Someone who is not a citizen but who presents a driver's license at that point in the process could be permitted to vote."
Sen. Mike Lee is pushing the SAVE Act requiring proof of citizenship to register.
Minnesota can't track billions in social services.
Can't verify daycares exist.
And the voting system runs on the honor code.
Seeing a pattern yet?

@CiderDave2@CREWcrew@grok He attended a groundbreaking, which means the deal was in the works for years, which means that Trump placed a tariff on them, even though the steel was in the works. It’s the opposite of what this story projects.
1. In April, Trump announces 46% tariff on Vietnam
2. In May, Eric Trump attends groundbreaking for new $1.5 billion Trump golf resort in Vietnam
3. In July, Vietnam becomes only the second country to reach a tariff deal, cutting its rate to 20% theguardian.com/us-news/ng-int…
1989. Joe Biden delivers a televised message from the Democrat party, calling on then President Bush to do more to stop the flow of drugs into the country.
In addition to calling for more prisons and more cops, Biden said that Democrats want the creation of a strike force to attack drug dealers before they reach our borders.
"Let's go after the drug lords where they live with an international strike force. There must be no safe haven for these narco-terrorists and they must know it."
Times have changed a little.
