@CollinRugg @OldeWorldOrder Ha! Traffic laws are so unenforced in cities in this country that outside of downtown, highly visible areas, no one gives pedestrians the right of way if there isn’t a traffic signal.

@OldeWorldOrder Why not paint a crosswalk with flashing lights if they care about saving lives? Because that costs money, it doesn't make money like this trick does.

NEW: The LAPD is setting up drivers by having someone walk across the street in an "unmarked crosswalk" so they can then give tickets to people who don't stop. "Recently, LAPD Van Nuys division conducted a Pedestrian Enforcement Taskforce," they shared online. The LAPD says the trap was made to "promote education" after they've "had a string of accidents that have resulted in fatal or severe injuries related to pedestrians."

In January, I called on the president to fire Noem—and he did. I truly approached the confirmation of my colleague and friend, Senator Mullin, with an open-mind. We need a leader at DHS. We must reopen DHS. My AYE is rooted in a strong committed, constructive working relationship with Senator Mullin for our nation’s security.
U.S. Senator John Fetterman@SenFettermanPA

.@POTUS @realDonaldTrump: I make a direct appeal to immediately fire @Sec_Noem. Americans have died. She is betraying DHS’s core mission and trashing your border security legacy. DO NOT make the mistake President Biden made for not firing a grossly incompetent DHS Secretary.

@SharrellAnne2 Sympathies to you but you also don’t get to put others loved ones in jeopardy under the guise of “revenge” when it is becoming apparent day by day that this administration has no real plan besides death and destruction which leads to more proxies who kill more husbands

Gold Star wife here. When ISIS killed your wife, you supported going after the people responsible. You understood exactly why we were fighting and never called it “Israel’s war.” My husband, Alan, was killed by Iranian proxies in Iraq. And now, after decades, the fight is finally leading back to the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. You understood it when it was your loss. Now you’re minimizing it when it’s mine. You don’t get to redefine this war just because it’s not your grief anymore.
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

Yes, Trump did. It would appear that Trump was being overly optimistic. At the time, I recall everyone saying that we wouldn’t know for some time whether the strikes had been successful. It appears they were not, and Trump was being premature. That being said, the problem still remains. Do we allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon? The answer to that question is rather simple: No, and hell no!

It is astounding how pretty much the entire left have given up on climate change as an issue. It was omnipresent for ages, and now it barely features at all in leftist discourse. Sort of makes you wonder if their commitment to it was ever real.

Hi @RealCandaceO Since everything is a conspiracy to you, let me explain: Before Charlie Kirk was assassinated in September, had been selected by President Trump to serve on the Air Force Academy board last year. "Erika is the right person to fill Charlie’s place on the Board and continue his work of inspiring the next generation of service members and advancing the Academy," Rep. August Pfluger, R-Texas, said. Charlie was appointed. He is now dead, so to honor him, his wife is taking his spot. Not everything is a conspiracy.

LeBron James last night fell to the ground writhing in pain, replay showed that he hit nothing of significance despite him grabbing both arms, and screaming as if he’d been hit by a car. He then exits the game. Lakers go on a run, as they show a trainer working on his left arm. They cut the lead to 1, and LeBron suddenly gets worried that the Lakers look better without him, so he stops faking to reenter the game with a couple minutes left. Lakers momentum is instantly zapped, and the team doesn’t score another basket until there’s 7 seconds left in the game. After the game he said that he “hit his funny bone”. LeBron James isn’t a Top 10 NBA player— NEVER put his name in a sentence with Michael Jordan. (Video via @famouslos32)

Just a small note: former presidents, until Obama, did not engage in active politics after office as he is now doing. The reason: once someone has been given centralized and unified control of government power as the head of the country and of all military, clandestine, and diplomatic powers, it is considered tyrannical to attempt to use that power once out of constitutional office, even by means of soft power influence over either those powers or the people in general. It was the custom, from Washington to George W. Bush, to avoid using the glamour of highest office over the people after having served in the office of presidency. So when people get angry about norms being violated, just remember: there are crude ways to violate norms, but there are also very gentile and silky ways to violate them as well.
Barack Obama@BarackObama

Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. But right now, they’re under attack. Several Republican-controlled states have redrawn their congressional maps to give themselves an unfair advantage in the midterm elections. Now Virginia has a chance to help level the playing field. If you live in the Commonwealth, early voting begins March 6, and Election Day is on April 21. Vote YES.

@VigilantFox Yea she’s eating up MAGA talking points. 1. If you don’t think a country with an 80 year old leader had a succession plan, you’re retarted. 2. If you think that Iranians are going to cozy up to US and Israel, you’re retarted. 3. Just retarted. Russia, China’s #1 ally still exist

“The View” guest co-host SHUTS DOWN panel’s hysteria over Trump’s strategic strike on Iran. Ana Navarro suggested Trump was starting a war to distract from the Epstein Files. The conservative co-host answered with three points that tore her narrative to shreds. 1. “We have 47 million Iranian women who now have a hope of freedom. That’s a good thing.” 2. “We have a disgusting, disgusting terrorist regime ended, and the people finally have hope to create their own nation again.” Point #3 was unexpectedly insightful. She said: “This is actually avoiding a boots-on-the-ground war with China when we are able to CHOKE their oil supply.” “They’ve cut the oil supply from Venezuela, and they’ve now reduced it and CHOKED the oil supply to China in Iran. And now what that does is presumably prevent China from having an absolute stronghold on the globe. So this is a strategic move geopolitically…”

As yet another preemptive war is begun in the Middle East, John Quincy Adam’s words of wisdom still ring true: “Wherever the standard of freedom and Independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be.” Like most Americans I have sympathy for the plight of the Iranian people and all subjected people around the globe, from North Korea to Tibet. But as Adam’s wrote, America:  “goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.” The Constitution conferred the power to declare or initiate war to Congress for a reason, to make war less likely.   Madison wrote that “the Executive Branch is the branch most prone to war, therefore, the Constitution, with studied care, delegated the war power to the legislature.” As with all war, my first and purest instinct is wish Americans soldiers safety and success in their mission.   But my oath of office is to the Constitution, so with studied care, I must oppose another Presidential war.

Unrealized gains tax for Gen-Z: You buy a Pokémon card for $50. Someone offers you $500 for it. You say no. You love that card. You're keeping it. The government says: "Cool, but that card is worth $500 now. You owe us $100 in taxes." You: "…I didn't sell it." Government: "Don't care. Pay up." You don't have $100 lying around. So you're forced to sell the card you love just to pay a tax on money you never received. Next month? That card drops back to $50. Your card is gone. Your money is gone. And the government shrugs. That's a wealth tax on unrealized gains. They don't pay you back the tax... Now picture this. Your mom calls you crying. She has to sell the house she raised you in. Not because she can't afford it. She's lived there 30 years. It's paid off. But some website says it's worth more now and the government says she owes $15,000 she doesn't have. So she sells your childhood home. The kitchen where she made you breakfast. The doorframe where she marked your height every birthday. Gone. To pay a tax on money that was never real. Now picture the opposite. Your dad put everything into his small business. For 20 years he built it from nothing. One year the business is "valued" at $2 million on paper. He owes a massive tax bill. He empties his savings. Sells his truck. Borrows money. Pays it. Next year the market crashes. His business is worth $200,000. He lost everything to pay a tax on a number that doesn't exist anymore. Does the government give him his money back? No. Does the government give him his truck back? No. Does the government care? No. They sold this idea as "taxing billionaires." But billionaires have armies of lawyers, offshore accounts, and trusts. They'll be fine. You know who won't be fine? Your mom. Your dad. Your neighbor with a small business. The farmer down the road who's had the same land for four generations and now has to sell it because dirt got expensive. You're not taxing wealth. You're taxing people for owning things. It's like getting a parking ticket for a car you might drive somewhere someday. They want you to own nothing and be happy. To fund the fraud, waste and abuse of the welfare state they created. There is enough money. More tax isn't needed. It's all a lie. But you've been gaslit into believing this is a rich vs poor debate. I hope you understand what's at stake.
