In his closing speech at Lucy Letby's trial Ben Myers alleged Dr B (V at TI) caused Child P's collapse that led to the baby's death by negligence with Dr Brearey and Dr B covering it up by blaming Lucy Letby. See attached.

I was of course responding to someone who was claiming I wasn’t a police officer. The fact I’m an expert in major crime investigation is relevant.

All they had was a single possible cause of death and the presence of Lucy Letby. That's why Baby C cause of death tripped them up, she wasn't present.

Cheshire police paid Caroline Cheetham – the co-creator, with @lizhull, of the @DailyMail's blockbuster Lucy Letby podcast – for "publicity" and "media training." During. The. Trial. The same trial Liz Hull and Caroline Cheetham were reporting on, for their "award-winning" Daily Mail podcast. Caroline Cheetham did not disclose this stunning conflict of interest to her Daily Mail superiors at the time. Liz Hull, meanwhile, was one of just a handful of "media trainers" listed on Cheetham's company website, back when the company brokered this… interesting business arrangement with Cheshire police. Hull has never denied or confirmed whether she took part in the media training sessions set up by Cheetham's company, with the police force she was meant to be reporting on objectively. The Daily Mail does not appear to see a problem with any of this. Liz Hull still reports on the Letby case for the paper. Her and Caroline Cheetham – likewise with the paper's imprimatur – still put out episodes of their sensational podcast.

@russm1961 @guyrowlanduk Parents has memories of that night that are harrowing and because you don’t want to acknowledge this she remains in bits that she followed Letby instructions and left her baby. Just try to think about that. She discovered the truth not the police your ignorance is offensive

This is THE key problem with the Lucy Letby case. The most qualified names in neonatology say there was no evidence of murder but plenty of bad medical care. What do Cheshire Police know that they don't? Or did they not investigate that explanation adequately?
