@Pliam_ Bobi Wine, on the other hand, has at times operated from abroad. Each approach can be debated, but leadership should be judged not only by location, but by impact, strategy, and commitment to the cause.

@Pliam_ History shows that leaders take different paths in their struggles. Nelson Mandela endured long imprisonment within his country, while Kizza Besigye has remained consistently active on the ground in Uganda.

There are a so many people who think that whoever does not agree with them and their ideas is an idiot, stupid and lacking emotional intelligence. This means you make yourself and your ideas the standard measure of reasoning in the world. There are so many brilliant minds that do not agree with me. Minds I love to listen to. Minds I love to debate without insults flying around. The moment you need to employ descriptions, someone has found their way under your skin.

@HEBobiwine You abandoned trust for comfort, trading loyalty for distance. Leadership demands courage, not escape. History remembers those who stood firm not those who fled when responsibility called their name.

Grateful to the thousands of comrades across the political divide who have attended the burial of Mrs. Edith Mufumbiro, wife to comrade Waiswa Mufumbiro Alex, this afternoon in Luuka District. While the regime rendered comrade Waiswa unable to lay his wife to rest by denying him bail yesterday, it is heartening that the rest of you comrades showed up to stand in solidarity with his and the late Edith's families in this trying moment. I have addressed the mourners virtually and expressed my condolences. May Edith's soul rest in perfect peace.

To be honest, there is so much suffering among our people. It is no longer something we can ignore, excuse, or speak about lightly. People are tired. People are hurting. People have lost hope. They wake up every day with nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and no one to truly listen. And the painful truth is this: the change they are waiting for does not lie somewhere far away—it lies in us. It lies in leadership. It lies in doing what is right. We cannot afford to get it wrong again. This time, we must do things right. Not tomorrow. Not someday. Now. Because every delay is another life weighed down by injustice. Every wrong decision is another family pushed deeper into despair. Every act outside the law is another wound on the soul of our nation. But change… real change… begins with something simple and powerful: It begins with me. It begins with you. We cannot keep passing responsibility. We cannot keep pointing fingers. We cannot keep watching in silence while everything falls apart. There is no other option. Doing things the right way is not a choice anymore— it is the only solution. Let leaders lead with integrity. Let the law guide every action. Let justice stop being a word—and start being a reality. And let us, as a people, rise. Not in anger alone, but in purpose. Not in despair, but in determination. Because even in all this pain, one truth remains: If we choose to stand for what is right—together— then hope is not lost. It is waiting to be rebuilt.

WATCH: Leader of Opposition @JoelSsenyonyi gives an overview after the Kawempe Chief Magistrate’s Court denied bail to @NUP_Ug deputy spokesperson Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, to attend his wife’s burial. According to Mr Ssenyonyi, the state prosecutor rejected two proposed sureties for Mr Mufumbiro’s release, including his father, Moses Baligeya, on grounds that he is too close to him, and Kampala Lord Mayor–elect Ronald Balimwezo, on grounds that he is not sufficiently close to compel his attendance in court. The media was barred from the session. Read: bit.ly/3Q2vokb #MonitorUpdates 📹: @abubakerlubowa

Over thousand ago a very wise man wrote the Biblical book of Proverbs. The reason we have the Bible is to guide us. Proverbs 22 New International Version 3  The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. Next time before you ask meKasumba don’t you this and that please read that text and understand what it tells me!

Man up, stop seeking sympathy. You failed to raise your son with discipline; let the world teach him instead. Stop talking rubbish! If it's true you're a retired magistrate, as you claim, you're old enough to see that your son needs to be in prison for his bad acts. Your son is a criminal. Stop those crocodile tears.

I read an article by an old friend of mine entitled 'The Judgment of the Silent'. I would ask that friend of mine, where has he been for the last 25 years? Before he judges us.

Waiswa abuses Gen. @mkainerugaba & @KagutaMuseveni, he strongly criticizes of our justice system, today finds himself seeking its mercy. Shud the LAW bend for one & remain RIGID for other prisoners who have suffered loss. Life brings us back to the very doors we once slammed shut

@NRMOnline @TodwongR The regime has taken its grip on Uganda’s governance. It raises serious questions when a Member of Parliament or minister appears in military uniform. Under which law is this permitted? Such actions is not good for civilian leadership and the armed forces as a challenge
