@Uridoes3d @DanielKenton1 And for me was his revolver one haha

This tutorial helped me reach the next step of texturing.
The tutorial is @DanielKenton1 's magazine texturing.

All it took you was just that 1 tutorial to open your eyes to different possibilities... What tutorial?

@vladimirdesigns @masamassacre You are very good at your craft, my friend 🗿

@SynthPotato @wesleytypes I want the same. It does feel like it was something planned, with all the ships laying around.

@ArtOfPilgrim @vladimirdesigns What I usually try to do is to use an HDRI but increase its lights where I see fit (by clicking on the HDRI image in marmo) but end up never fully liking the result of my renders
English

@Roberts_Gui @vladimirdesigns If you think about how many lights do you see on naturally lit objects? Not many if only the sun. Lighting with just the hdri makes a lot of sense and is the simplest approach.
English

@vladimirdesigns Oh, I see, thanks for showing the marmo file. Amazing work, man! 🙏
English

@Roberts_Gui Yes, just and HDRI with different rotations for each frame.
The only exception is this render with a subtle omni light inside the reflector.

@Roberts_Gui They are trying to replace what actually exists with hallucinations D:
If it takes off every game will kind of be like a fever dream.
They could've actually made amazing tools to help artists do more with their time, but instead they made an ugly filter. Horrible.

“Photorealistic lighting” but it’s not, though. It’s not like a photo. It’s like it’s heavily edited, with zero context awareness.
Where is the light on these characters coming from, in this image? Nowhere. It’s made up.
