Well, she is justified in feeling ashamed of her dad since he is from a backward society and moved to a better one, stayed there but didn't integrate well enough becoming a fucking perjeet. We Pakistani patriots, for example, we are proud of our country, so we stay here even when we have the option to move to a more developed nation. But the Pakistanis who fail here, don't love Pakistan enough and think our society isn’t good enough for them leave for developed countries, and some of them carry their failed practices with them and turn into 'Paki Bastards' of UK/EU. People like Priya integrate and contribute to the development of the new civilization they adopt, which is the right approach. The honorable path is clear: either stay in your own country, or go abroad, get educated, gain skills, and come back to build businesses, create wealth, and generate jobs in Pakistan. If you choose not to return, then fully integrate into your new society and contribute to it. The real problem, in our case, is of Paki Bastards, who do neither. They lack the ability or discipline to follow either of these paths, so they remain in between. They end up doing menial work, engaging in harmful or criminal behavior, looting, pillaging, raping native children, and bringing a bad name to Pakistanis everywhere. That is unfair to those of us who stay, work hard, and take pride in our country.

spacex is restricted from hiring immigrants on work visas because their work has national defense implications. So no, they don't have a ton of immigrants there. In fact, if anything, spacex is stronger evidence that there is real home grown talent in America that has nowhere else to go elon wasn't necessary for america to succeed in space. Matt, the reason America leads in space is because of an immigrant who had an H-1B visa called Elon Musk who also employs other high skilled immigrants on visas who collaborate and complement native-born Americans.

@oradlaski Simple answer Bahamani & Shahi sultanates. Being under Muslim rule for 400 years changed the culture of the region. Maharashtra had Kannada as a court language during the rule of Chalukya, Rashtrakuta & Kalyani Chalukya. Yadava's of Devagiri changed it to Marathi.

Since there is some news today of the "Bengali race" on TV, I remembered some history. The Chalukya Empire from Badami (Vatapi) in today's Karnataka, was a very powerful force 1200-1400 years ago. At the peak, Chalukya dynasty of Pulikeshi, ruled parts of today's Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Gujarat. They held power for centuries in different names like Western Chalukyas and Eastern Chalukyas. Chalukyas were instrumental in thwarting off the Arab attacks on India's west coast. During the reign of Vikramaditya VI (1076–1126 CE), Chalukya army conducted successful military campaigns into eastern India, extending their influence into modern day Bihar, West Bengal and Bangladesh. The Senas, who later established a dynasty in Bengal, were chieftains or military generals connected to the Chalukya forces that came from Karnataka and nearby Deccan plateau states, during those military campaigns. A simple analysis will show that today's Bengali race would have lakhs, if not millions of descendants of those 1000s of Chalukyas from the Deccan plateau, who settled in Bengal. Do they teach this in schools of West Bengal or Bangladesh?

@Gurubhat_ @KiranKS What did you study in history? You wrote books ha..ha..ha. Kannada was the royal court language of Maharashtra for 1000+ years until Seuna's changed it to Marathi in 13th century. Marathi may be a local dialect of the people but Kannada was kings language in current Maharashtra.

@TheRealMoshes @LauraLoomer Avoid slums and Muslim areas. They are dirty and disgusting. Have seen many Israelis backpacking near Manali. If you want to see Ancient and real Indian culture/architechture, visit Ellora, Hampi, Rishikesh, Varanasi, Belur/Halebidu, Tanjavur, Madurai. Kerala is nice.

Honestly, as someone who has traveled a lot, India is the best country I have ever traveled to. It’s incredible. I will have been here for 9 days when I leave, and there is still so much to see and do. My experience has been amazing and India is portrayed negatively in the media as a place Amercians should avoid, but I realize a lot of that is completely made up. The people, food, culture and hospitality culture are just incredible. I have felt safe and comfortable the entire time I have been here and India will truly be the next big super power. This country has incredible potential and you have to see it yourself to understand because the media only makes it out to be 3rd world. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Indian people are the nicest people I have ever met. I am very grateful for my time in India. I have enjoyed it so much and I hope I can come back every year. Next time I want to visit South India. I have tried to do as much as possible these last 9 days but there is still so much to see and do. All good things come to an end. I’ll be back (hopefully soon). I love India. My misconceptions have been corrected. I have nothing but nice things to say. 🇮🇳

@12Mvolts @LauraLoomer India was great in 1400's, 1500's & 1600's. India gave decimal system, mathematics & astronomy to the world. The number you use everyday 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 came from India. That's why Columbus & other Europeans went looking for a sea route to India and called native's Indians.
