Phang: In one of those “you only believe it if you read it” moments, Politico is reporting that there are some Republicans on the House Oversight Committee who support the idea of convicted felon Donald Trump giving clemency—a pardon—to Ghislaine Maxwell, she herself a convicted felon. Convictions of child sex abuse, child pedophilia, child trafficking—you name it. The fact that that is even being considered by House Oversight Republicans should disgust you.

The ballroom is for State Events where the President and Cabinet, and everyone else will be safe. It is long over due to have a secure facility for these types of events. It's being privately funded and not costing the taxpayers anything. What is your problem with it other than President Trump is doing it? It's a real shame that you are so ate up with TDS that you think the ballroom is a bad idea and not necessary.

It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.
