@Short40469695 @vyrekal It’s 5 buddy , 29+5 is 34 , Shai and joker have played over 34 minutes practically ever season of his career , just like every other star , no star plays 29 minutes , it is what it is

@Negreira_Jr @mevsme96 @KalshiHoops @lukadoncic Well, time didn't tell because in his prime, he is almost a net negative. In the end of the day is not how you do, it is what you did and Wemby is having much higher impact than Luka.

I don’t think the MVP should just be a PRA award, I think you have to take into account impact & advanced stats PRA is just a small piece of the puzzle

I just never like this logic. It’s never as simple as “player does thing X, he gets MVP.” He’s competing against other players. In 2024 I just thought Jokic was better. In 2026 I think SGA is better. There’s no fixed criteria. No boxes every MVP has to check. It’s best guy wins.
Angel Saint-Hilaire@I_Am_Angel84

@SamQuinnCBS It just seems that like in 2023-2024 season when Luka puts up stats but team isn’t winning even when facing heavy injuries, voters saying that he needs to win games. Then to end the season he starts winning (Mavs won 16 of 18 to end season), and they just hold on to their votes.

Wemby is now a 97 OVR in 2K. Too high, too low, or just right?

@SixZamier @POAdefenseFC @HEBcommercials Omg we're playing stupid now. When you're just naming things you're doing it horizontally when you're ranking things, you're doing it vertically and he put the names vertically.

As always, it’s a factor. Neither of Curry’s MVPs were close. Dirk’s MVP wasn’t close. I think Nash’s second MVP should be Kobe’s. I flip flop a lot on Harden vs. LeBron in 2018. The problem Luka is mostly facing is that 2026 SGA has a better resume than their competition did.
Ty@balldontTy

Quite honestly, I’m so sick of the defense line for Luka Doncic & MVP. We didn’t hear it for Nash, or Dirk, or Curry, or Jokic, or Harden. Suddenly it’s so important, Luka is somehow forever MVP ineligible. In fact, the only time I’ve *ever* heard defense used as an argument in the MVP race… was for Luka Doncic. It gets to a point just please shut the f*ck up about it

In the play-by-play era, here's every player to post at least a +14.5 on-court NET RTG as (at least arguably) the best player on a team Steph (15-17) Shai (25-26) Shaq (98) Duncan (05) KG (08) LeBron (09) KD (17) Giannis (20) Gobert (21) Wembanyama (26) Incredible company.
Carson Breber@Carsobi

It is truly absurd that the Spurs are a +14.5 NET team in Wemby’s minutes. That is an all-time dominant number. Their defense performs like one of the very best *ever* when he’s on the court. His impact is extraordinary. One of the very best 3rd-year players ever.
