PropAMMs deliver the best execution in DeFi right now. Oracle-driven pricing, sub-second quote updates, spreads tighter than most CEXs. However, on Solana where they dominate volume on every major pair, these are black boxes. Closed source, closed liquidity, closed participation. Better prices yes, but with far fewer participants. A public PropAMM opens this new execution model to the rest of the stack. Lending protocols read the price. Arb contracts interact atomically. Retail LPs and protocol partners can deposit and participate in structured, automated vaults. That is what LFJ is building with POE.

I had the chance to catch up with the @avantprotocol team yesterday, and man, there was a lot I didn't know: ⇒ Like most robust stablecoin protocols, they're using both @HypernativeLabs and @pagerduty ⇒ They're also using @trailofbits for OpSec auditing ⇒ They use @zeroshadow_io for threat response ⇒ They get access to above-market yields by providing sticky liquidity to teams like Ethena and Syrup ⇒ They DON'T use the usual yield passthrough mechanism, instead all of the yield from the unstaked avUSD goes into a reserve which acts as a super junior tranche that would take first losses before avUSDx ⇒ That reserve currently has ~1.3M in it (covering up to a 1% loss in NAV) ⇒ They've been profitable since month 2 (which is wild in DeFi) In short, they're actually doing way more for risk mitigation than I'd thought, and their strategies (which are still remarkably conservative on the USD side) are fully transparent. They are still in S1, and rumors are that they're targeting a mid Q2 TGE. While I absolutely cannot and would never guarantee the safety of a stablecoin protocol, I will say they appear to be one of the good ones, genuinely trying to maximize risk mitigation while squeezing the most yield out of conservative strategies. Very cool.

I'm not going to post about this again, and honestly reading the QTs makes me think some of you deserve getting rugged. They sold all their CAI and AVAX (and maybe CLY didn't verify), 550K avax, and transferred it to binance, where it was obviously liquidated. If you think they couldn't have found a way to return the money to you after years of returning money to you... I don't really know what to tell you. Are you interested in buying some tokens of unspecified utility? DM for presale info. I'll accept any size. All these years they managed to pay out rewards, and do investments and pay out the results of that, but somehow returning the treasury is over the line? Now? In the most permissive crypto environment that has ever existed? Regardless, the obvious non-ruggy way to deal with it is to just continue staking and passing through staking rewards, since they obviously had precedent for doing that. They didn't. I don't care what they think about the future of avax. I'm not optimistic about the future either buddy, you don't need to convince me. They kept the money because they got a legal opinion that they could. If you just decide to stop paying stakers and keep the treasury for yourself, that's a rug. You need funds to keep running it? Sell a % of the staking rewards. You don't want to manage it? Sell the right to continue managing it to someone else. Hell, you could automate this shit FOREVER using sAVAX and a vesting contract and free Vercel hosting for ZERO DOLLARS AND ZERO EFFORT. They didn't, because it's a rug. Period.
