@parenthoodbliss @MyDadDiaries @StarkRaving_Dad @DadOfThreeBlogs @daddyinmotion @gethelpdad @daddydazecomic @milifeasdad @Dadisms4Dadisms It's when they frustrate the hell out of you and then give you a cheeky smile. No way you can stay mad at that

Now I have two kids, I only want two kids 🤣

Name one thing that in 2023 you are going to work on in your life.
For me, it's my career.

@thenortherndad I'm also a nursery practitioner 😂 the amount of parents kicking off about the increase of fees. It's completely understandable.
English

@StephenYule Childcare as w whole is so expensive. This is why I be ame a stay at home dad. My wife ironically is a senior Nursery practitioner.
English

@LicensedtoDad I always wanted a load of kids. However, having just had our second, we are definitely stopping at 2.
English

@Moonfacemum Thank you for your kind words. Just need to get through this tricky period.
English

@StephenYule I felt the same way but it gets easier. Also tried to remind myself I knew what I was doing a bit more with my second, so although he didn't get my undivided attention he does/did benefit from the fact I wasn't completely clueless second time round. You got this 🙌
English

@mummummymamma Yeah I think we just need to get through this tough period. It never lasts forever. He seems to be doing slightly better each night so fingers crossed we are on the right track.
English

@StephenYule Yes it's just a phase :) I hope bebe settles into a good sleep pattern soon. As they get older it's more fun for the sibling too. Just keep in mind jobs your 5 year old can help with too.
English

@mummummymamma We've got a 5 year old boy and a 2 week old.
I think it's the tiredness that's doing it. Just constantly running on empty. It's a phase though and I know the sleep will return in time.
English

@StephenYule We are finding the same struggle. How old are your kids? Mine are 6 and 10months.
English

@hilarymeggin I'm in the UK. We get 2 weeks after the birth. But if you plan to share maternity, like we are doing, you don't get anything at the beginning. I've had to take 3 weeks unpaid leave to actually be at home.
English

@StephenYule Are you in the U.S.? Believe it or not, before the Clinton family leave act was passed in the 90s, dads didn’t even have the right to take unpaid leave! And he took such a political bearing for even wanting that much! It’s crazy.
English

@ingram_llc That's terrible isn't it?! It's not nearly enough time.
English

@TheMomMEd I'm not surprised he didn't last long. Honestly this time at home is so important. I literally don't want to miss out on anything!!
English

@StephenYule 1) I support dads who truly want to help out on paternity leave. Dads are parents, not babysitters
2) My ex, right after Tiny was born, took paternity leave and slept in the back room for two weeks. We didn’t last long after that.
English

@dadmattersuk I've decided to take shared parental leave at the 6 month stage, but this has meant that I don't get my 2 weeks at the start. Crazy.
English

@StephenYule Shared parental leave isn’t often taken up. And there are a few reasons to consider - it’s statutory pay, which can be significantly lower than a wage, dads don’t want to feel like they are negatively impacting mums available leave. There are companies that are doing more - cont
